Dorothy Barth

Dorothy (Smith) Barth, 82, of Augusta, homemaker, died Sunday, June 17, 2001.
Visitation with family will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20; funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, both at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Mrs. Barth was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Barth and sister, Fern (Smith) Kemper.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Kathleen Barth of Rose Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Susanne and William Richardson of Wichita; brother, Jack Smith of Arlington, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Betty Barth of Andover, Zelma Barth of Wichita; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Ursel Barth of Morning Sun, Iowa; grandchildren, Christopher Barth of Rose Hill, Jeff Crown of Wichita.
Memorials have been established with First Christian Church and the Augusta Public Library.

Stan Kippenberger

Stan H. Kippenberger, 73, of Augusta, retired Boeing Aircraft engineer, died Saturday, June 16, 2001.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Hillside Funeral Home, Augusta.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at St. John’s Church in El Dorado. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Mount Valley Cemetery in Thomas, Okla.
Mr. Kippenberger is survived by sons, Chris of Derby, Kerry of Kingfisher, Okla.; daughters, Andra Udden, Dr. Lana Anderson both of Wichita; brothers, Gordon Kippenberger of Abilene, Mike Kippenberger of Tequesta, Fla.; sisters, Patsy Clayton of Tulsa, Okla., Betty Krenger of Abilene; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Hospice Inc., the American Cancer Society, and St. John’s Church.
Hillside Funeral Home, Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Iver Knudson

Iver “Bill” Knudson, 77, of Seneca, former Gambles Store owner and father of Tom Knudson of Augusta, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001.
Services have been held.
Mr. Knudson was born Sept. 9, 1923, in Zearing, Iowa, the son of Ingebret and Alma Tullberg Knudson.
He served in the Army as an airplane engine mechanic during World War II.
He is survived by wife, Vera (Phillips); sons, Gary of Mayetta, Robert of Belleville, Tom of Augusta, Eugene of Seneca; daughters, Sandy Feldkamp of Aurora, Colo., Diane Morton of Saline; brother, Adrian Apple of Popular, Wis.; sisters, Edna Riv-eland of Fortuna, N.D., Inez Carlson of Popular, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A memorial contribution may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Seneca and sent in care of the family.

Sadie E. Jacobs

Sadie E. Jacobs, 85, Augusta, retired teacher, died Sunday, June 3, 2001.
A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at St. James Catholic Church. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by sons, John Edward Jacobs of Wichita, Philip Alan Jacobs, Robert Joseph Jacobs, Carl Lawrence Jacobs, all of Augusta; daughter, Janet Sue Mitchell of Augusta; and three grandchildren.
A memorial has been made with St. James Catholic Church Building Fund.
Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Virgil McNutt

Virgil Lloyd McNutt, 73, of Augusta, Walmart employee and former Boeing Wichita and Cessna Aircraft Co. sheet metal employee, died Friday, June 15, 2001.
His service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the First Assembly of God Church.
Mr. McNutt is survived by wife, Lillie “Jackie” McNutt; sons, Bill, Jerry both of Augusta; daughters, Edith Carter, Hattie Johnson, Jody Johnson, Linda Moreland all of Augusta, Melba Sykes of Edwards, Calif.; sisters, Mabel of Fritch, Texas, Eva Ellison of Grand Junction, Colo.; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with New Hope Christian Academy.
Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
