Charlotte Rowe

Former Augusta resident Charlotte M. Rowe, 93, Grove, Okla., died Friday, Jan. 19, 1996, in the Grove General Hospital.
Her service will be 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Worley-Luginbuel Chape at Grove Okla.,
with Rev. Kemey Graham officiating. A private committal will be in the Olympus Cemetery, Grove.
Rowe was born Sept. 4, 1902 in Chautauqua County, the daughter of Jasper and Caroline (Schurz) Warren.
They both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
She married Morris E. Rowe on Aug. 24, 1922 in Cedar Vale, who preceded her in death,
as did a daughter, Kathryn Shaw.
Rowe was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, both of Grove.
She was a homemaker, although she worked for Boeing Aircraft during World War II.
She is survived by her son, Morris E. Rowe Jr. of Spring, Texas;
six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Alejandro Cabrales

Alejandro Cabrales, 94, Augusta, died Jan. 19, 1996, at the Andover Health Care Center, Andover.
His graveside service was today in Elmwood Cemetery here.
Cabrales was born Aug. 6, 1901 in Torreon, Mexico, to Senon and Secundia (Prado) Cabrales.
He married Beatrice Sifuentes, who preceded him in death on Jan. 31, 1994.
He was a retired track crewman for the Santa Fe Railroad.
He is survived by his sons, Guadalupe of White City, Stanley of Las Vegas, Nev., Alex, Jr. of Fall River, Mass.,
Eddie of Manteca, Calif., Frank of New Lenox, 111.; daughters, Mary Garcia of Augusta,
Beatrice Pauline of San Diego, Calif., Virginia Hays of Wichita, Anita Melton of Ontario, Calif.,
Ofelia Gallardo of Wichita, and 23 grandchildren.
Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Lucy M. Dunn

Lucy Mabel Dunn, 95, Augusta, died Monday, Feb. 5, 1996.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the Leon Cemetery in Leon.
Dunn was born Oct. 14, 1900 to Charles Robert and Millie Ava (Cloyd) Snodgrass.
She married Arthur Dunn on May 17, 1919 in Leon.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Jean Mobley, of Mercedes, Texas;
niece, Carolyn Tery of Wichita and several other nieces and nephews.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Artie Burris

Former Augusta resident Artie Mabel (Lemmons) Burris, 82, Topeka, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 1996
in Rolling Hills Health Center, Topeka. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Elmwood Cemetery here.
Burris was born May 16, 1913 to John F. and Belle (Griffith) Lemmons.
She married Lue D. Burris on June 1, 1946 in Wichita.
They had Burris Rock Shop in Augusta. He preceded her in death.
She was affiliated with the Christian Church and was a retired bookkeeper for B&G Bookkeeping Service.
She is survived by her son, James of Topeka; sister, Martha Ludlum, Attica;
three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
There is a memorial to the Alzheimer’s Foundations.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Anna Heschmeyer

Anna Marie Heschmeyer, 82, Augusta, died Saturday, March 9, 1996.
Cremation and private family services have already been held.
Heschmeyer was born June 7, 1913 in Goddard to John and Anna (Larson) Heschmeyer.
She was retired from the Western Union.
She is survived by her brother, Clarence; and sister, Elizabeth Giaretta, both of Augusta.
