Harold Mitchell

Former Augustan Harold R. Mitchell, 72, Medicine Lodge, died Thursday, March 6, 1997, at the Regional Medical Center in Pratt.
Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Saturday, March 8, and from 1 until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Larrison-Forsyth Funeral Home in Medicine Lodge.
His funeral service will be 10
a.m. Monday, March 10, at united Methodist Church of Medicine Lodge with Rev. Jim Godbey and Rev. Tom Walters presiding. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
Harold R. Mitchell was born August 27, 1924, to Marion J. and Vada M. (Rawlings) Mitchell near Andover.
He married E.A. “Van” Hamilton Aug. 4, 1965, in Neosho, Mo.
He was a carpenter and a member of the VFW and United Methodist Church.
Survivors are wife, Van Mitchell of Medicine Lodge; sons, Jerry R. Mitchell and Steven L. Mitchell both of Wichita; daughters Peggy A. Mitchell and Janet R. Coleman both of Wichita and Judy F. Phillips of Udall; mother, Vada Mitchell of Augusta; brother, Bob Mitchell of Augusta; sisters Donna Jones and Marilyn Lewellen both of Norman, Okla.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, John Mitchell, Nov. 8, 1976.

Stanley Linson

Stanley James Linson, 41, of Augusta died Saturday, March 8, 1997, in Wichita.
His funeral service was today at Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta with Rev. Rich Neu and Rev. Doug Fraley presiding. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery, Thayer, Mo.
Stanley James Linson was born Oct. 23, 1955, to James and Elsie (Miller) Linson in Wichita.
He married Alice Vorhies. He was a plumbing warehouse clerk.
Survivors are wife, Alice Linson of Augusta; son, Kenneth Linson of Augusta; daughter, Paula Linson of Augusta; brother, William Miller of Caufield, Mo.; sister, Charlotte Aday of Broken Arrow, Okla, and parents, James and Elsie Linson of Thayer, Mo.
A memorial has been established with American Diabetes Association, 3210 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS. 67208-3309.

Henry Nachbor

Henry Alger, Nachbor, 88, of Augusta died Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral service was today at Hillside Funeral Home Augusta Chapel. Fr. Jim Mainzer officiated. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
Henry Alger Nachbor was born Sept. 9, 1908, to Hemy and Barbara (Schmidt) Nachbor in rural Douglass.
He married Elizabeth K. Rausch June 14, 1942, in Garden Plaine.
He was a retired carpenter and farmer.
Survivors are wife, Elizabeth K. Nachbor of Douglass; sons, Harley Nachbor and Richard Nachbor both of Augusta and Leonard Nachbor of Wichita; sisters, Frances Smith of Augusta and Eunice Schweitzer of Derby; eight grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Inc. Contributions may be sent to Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.

Jerry D. Myers

Jerry Donald Myers, 65, of Wichita and formerly of Augusta died Wednesday, April 23, 1997, in Wichita.
His graveside memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. George Bever will officiate.
Jerry Donald Myers was born March 19, 1932, to Kyle C. and Emma A. (Snodgrass) Myers in Augusta.
Survivors are brothers, Robert L. Myers of Rose Hill and Lawrence M. Myers of Wichita and sister, Marjorie Crum of Hawaii.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc. Contributions may be sent to Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta, which has the arrangements.
