Frank Bennington
Frank A. Bennington Sr., 77, of Yates Center, former law enforcement officer in Augusta, died Jari. 3, 1999.
Services are Jan. 6, 1999, at 1:30 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center, Kan. Visitation is at the Campbell Funeral Home until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5. He will be buried at’ the Yates Center Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 1, 1921 in Bums to Lewis Roy and Orpha Cole Bennington.
He was married to Margaret Orbin Bishop on Dec. 7, 1965 at Erie.
He belonged to the First Christian Church and the American Legion. He was a WWII veteran who served in the Army Air Force.
Survivors include: wife, Margaret; son, Frank Bennington Jr. of Shell Knob, Mo., daughter Barbara Hogberg of Elkhorn, Neb.; brother Wayne Bennington of Augusta; sister Frances Stinley of Andrews, Texas; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Memorial has been established with the First Christian Church in Yates Center, Kan.
Clarence Dalke
Clarence Dalke, 81, of Augusta, retired Mobil Oil mechanical engineer, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999.
His funeral will be 11 am Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel m Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born June 8, 1917, in Goessel to Alvin Drake amd Helena Becker.
He served in the Army during WWII.
Survivors include: daughters, Ann Prothro and Jeannie Hargrove, both of Augusta; brothers Herb Dalke of Rowlett Texas and Alvin Dalke of North Newton; sister Olga Schroeder of Moundridge; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Hazel Dalke.
Memorials to Augusta Medical Complex have been suggested.
Justin Garner
Justin Hunter Ray Gamer, 1, of Augusta, died Jan. 3, 1998.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Dunsford Chapel in Augusta. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Justin was born June 2, 1997, to Kenneth Ray Garner and Tonya Marie Glenn-Pritchard.
Survivors include: brother, Jerrikk Glenn; parents, Ron and Tonya Pritchard of Augusta, Kenneth Garner of Wichita; grandparents, Jerry and Kathy Glenn of Cunningham, Alice Chase of Wichita; Sharon and Robert Hunter and Jean Hunter of Augusta, Debra Pritchard of Oklahoma City; great-grandparents Donna and Vernon Glenn, Augusta, Katherine Keely of Towanda: and great-great grandparent, Clara Willinger of Augusta.
