Warren Richardson
Warren E. Richardson, 76, of Augusta, retired petroleum engineer, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at First United Methodist Church in Augusta, 2420 N. Ohio. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Richardson was born on March 20, 1925 in Wellington to William and Frances (Edwards) Richardson.
He graduated from Douglass High School and served in the United States Army during World War II.
He married Jane Taylor on Sept. 16, 1950 in Enterprise, Kan.
He earned a electrical engineering degree from Kansas State University, and completed graduate work at University of Oklahoma to obtain degree in petroleum engineering. He was a member of Butler County Planning and Zoning, Red Cross Disaster Committee, served on board of Comma Ink, Kiwanis Club, United Methodist Church, and Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter, Linda and son-in-law Jerry Marcis of San Diego, Calif., granddaughters, Kristen and Kaley Marcis; sister, Barbara Lovelady of Wichita. He was preceded in death by a son, Lee, and brother, Wayne Richardson.
Memorials have been established with the Augusta Public Library and the First United Methodist Church.
Derrel W. Hixon
Derrel W. Hixon, 84, Augusta, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001.
His funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Mr. Hixon was the retired owner of the former Village Market in Augusta.
He leaves daughters Patricia Pressnell of Wichita, Diania Laskowski of Destin, Fla., and Jan Arredondo of Augusta; a brother, Maurice Hixon of Sikeston, Mo.
He also leaves seven grandchildren: Derrel Pressnell of Wichita, Claude Pressnell Jr. of Franklin, Tenn., Penny Seals of Dayton, Texas, Stacey Woodard of Paducah, Ky., Chris and Ryan Arredondo, both of Augusta, and Sherry Pressnell of Kansas City, Mo., and 16 great-grandchildren

William H. Perry, 44, of Augusta, Raytheon Aircraft Co. mill operator, died Sunday, Oct. 14,2001.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Faith Baptist Church in Andover. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Perry is survived by wife, Roberta; sons, Christopher, Aaron both of Wichita; daughter, Tonya Perry of Augusta; parents, Matthew and Lola Perry of Norfork, Ark.; brother, Bob of Garner, N.C.; sisters, Chris Smith, Irene VanArsdale both of Andover; three grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Inc.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
Clive B. Taylor
Clive B. Taylor, 75, of Douglass, retired Beech Aircraft truck driver, died Saturday, Oct. 6,2001.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Douglass (Kan.) Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by son, Clive Dale Taylor.
He leaves behind wife, Wanda; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Becky Taylor of Douglass; daughter and son-in-law, Debra
and Michael Hiser of Augusta; brother, James Taylor of Woodward, Okla.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc.

Gerald D. Wolfe
Gerald Dean Wolfe, 75, of Wichita, retired Lockheed Aircraft sheet metal worker and father of Brenda Woody of Augusta, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Mr. Wolfe is survived by sons, Mark Alan Wolfe of Wichita; daughter, Brenda Woody of Augusta; brothers, Leo Wolfe of Wichita, Russ Wolfe of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society, 400 North Broadway, Wichita 67202.
