Justin Bradley Brown

Justin Bradley Brown, 27, Winfield, Cessna Aircraft Co. stock clerk, grandson of Ray Stevens of Augusta, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002.
His funeral services will be held at 10 a.m Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Miles Funeral in Winfield.
Survivors include: fiance, Laura Peacock and daughter, Alexandra Zimmerman of the home; mother and stepfather, Deambra Jan and Rex Stevens of Arkansas City; father and stepmother, Roger and Linda Brown of Wichita; brother, Chad Brown of Belleview, Neb.; stepbrother, Shane Fisher of Winfield; stepsister, Sabrina Bonilla of
Wichita; grandparents, Ray and Vriginia Nichols of Winfield, Joan Brown of Wellington, Barbara Buck of Winfield; greatgrandmother, Genevieve Chism of Winfield; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial has been established with Justin Brown College Scholarship Trust Fund for his fiance’s daughter, Alexandria and his nephew, Tylar.
Miles Funeral Home of Winfield is handling the arrangements.

Ruth G. Phillips

Ruth G. Phillips, 84, Augusta, retired elementary school teacher, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002.
Visitation with family 6 to 7 p.m. tonight; Dec. 16, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, Survivors include: husband, Donald; son, Dennis Phillips of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
Memorial established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 115 W. Central, El Dorado, 67042.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of arrangements.

Dana D. Fretz

Dana Doree Fretz, 45, Beaumont, Texas, formerly of Augusta, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2002.
Her funeral service was held today, Nov. 25, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Beaumont.
An additional service and interment are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 29, in Augusta. Time for the service was pending this morning with Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Survivors include: husband, Kenneth Fretz Jr. of the home; son, Kyle Doran Fretz of the home; parents, Marland and Vicky Varner Boucher; grandfather, Raymond D. Boucher of Augusta.

Judith Ann Edwards

Judith Ann Edwards, 63, Augusta, retired Beech Aircraft employee and lead operator for Pizza Hut, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by parents, Grace and Frank Davis and brother, Billy Joe Davis.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Phil Windsor of Rose Hill; four grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with LakePoint Nursing Home, 901 LakePoint Drive, Augusta.

Gladys G. Bredfeldt

Gladys G. Bredfeldt, 85, Augusta, retired public school vocal and orchestra instructor, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5. funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, both at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blatchley W. and Edna Mae Ball Stitt, husband, Melvin H. Bredfeldt, and brother, Paul Stitt
Survivors include: daughters, Shirley Astwood of King wood, Texas, Joyce Stewart of El Dorado; step-son, Donald Bredfeldt of Jetmore, Kans.; sisters, Velva Becker of Newton, Sue Van Dine of DuBuque, Iowa; brother, Ronald Stitt of Kansas City; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Alzheimers Association or LakePoint Nursing Home in Augusta.

Irene E. Willhoite, 94, Augusta, homemaker and retired registered nurse, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Hillside Funeral Home.
Survivors include: husband, Robert Willhoite of Augusta; son, Charles Willhoite of Newton; daughters, Marianne Foster of Lenexa, Alice Willhoite of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
