Lois Katharine Meyers

Lois Katharine Meyers, 88, Augusta, retired Augusta Public Library employee, died Friday, March 7, 2003.
Her memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at the Augusta First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio.
On Feb. 10, 1936, she married Gerald Meyers on the Fry family farm in Morrill.
She was a member of the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Gerald; brother, Clayton Fry; sister, Dorothy Jean Ronan.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, John and Connie Meyers of Shawnee; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Everett Johnson of Augusta; sisters, Anne Brent of South Pasadena, Fla., Mary Maxine Alford of Boone, N.C.; grandchildren, Will and Jenni Johnson of Tucson, Ariz., Cathy and Garrett Cox of Sterling, Alaska, Chad Meyers and Becca Booth-Meyers, Jeff Meyers, all of Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Jessi and Madi Johnson of Tucson, William, Jason and Mathew Cox of Sterling, Alaska.
Memorials established with United Methodist Youthville and Total Homecare and Hospice.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Adeline Elizabeth , Dockers

Adeline Elizabeth Dockers, four month old infant, Leon, died Monday, March 10, 2003.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 14 at the Bloomington Cemetery, rural Leon.
Survivors are: parents, Bryan and Brandy (Neice) Dockers; brothers, Luke, Nicholas, Alex; sister, Misty; grandparents, Nancy and Roy Driskell, John Neice, all of Augusta; Nick and Eleanor Dockers of Wichita; great-grandparents, Grace Schreck of Augusta, Mary Moon of Blackwell, Okla., and Sherri Gibbs of Wichita.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Janet E. Corriveau

Janet E. Corriveau, 43, Douglass, died Sunday, March 9, 2003.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, at the Shadow Mountain Mortuary in Phoenix, Ariz.
She leaves daughter Tara Osborn; sons, Fred and Chris Agan; parents, Betty and Fred Nichols; sister, Cheryl Pranke; brother, Fred Nicholas, and one grandchild.

Vester Weeden

Vester Elmer Weeden, 84, Fort. Morgan, Colo., farmer and retired school custodian, father and father-in-law of Marietta and Joe Slater of Augusta, died Monday, March 10, 2003.
His funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 17, at the Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort. Morgan, Colo.
He served in the United States Air Force during World War II and was stationed in England. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Brush, Colo, for 29 years.
Mr. Weeden was preceded in death by: parents, Dee B. and Eunice Cleo Smith Weeden; an infant daughter who died at birth; and infant granddaughter, Joelle Marie Slater.
Other survivors include: wife, Velma; brother, Leland Weeden of Stockton, Calif.; sister, Corriene Howell of Fresno, Calif.; three grandchildren.
Memorial established with Hospess Morgan City, P.O.Box 1311, Fort. Morgan, CO, 80701.
Jolliffe Mortuary of Fort Morgan has charge of the arrangements.

George Alexander

George Alexander, 77, Wichita, retired Beech Aircraft metal processor, father of Sandy Sackett of Augusta, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003.
His service will be held at noon Friday, march 14, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
Other survivors: wife, Betty; children, Elaine Miller of Wichita, Beverly Bolen of Peck, Debbie Cowell of Haysville, Johnnie Alexander, Karen Alexander, both of Wichita, Debbie Bell of Higginsville, Mo., Bill Moore, Jr. of Wichita, Terri Nelson of Dallas; sisters, Jewell Standifer of Tallehany, Okla.; brothers, Dub Alexander, L.D. Alexander of Texas.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
