Ruth E. McClean
Ruth E. McClean, 74, Derby, retired account supervisor for SBC, mother of Kay McClean of Douglass, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, at Smith Mortuary in Derby. A private family burial will follow.
Survivors are: son, Joseph McClean of Derby; brother, Paul Montague of Rose Hill; sister, Martha Montague of Washington, D.C.; one grandson.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Selina McClean.
Memorial donations may be made to Great Plains Nature Center in Wichita or Anthony Sept. 11th Memorial in Anthony, Kan.
Smith Mortuary of Derby has charge of the arrangements.
Ida M. Gallo
Ida M. Gallo, 84, Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Augusta, died on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004.
A memorial service will be held in Augusta at a later date.
She was born on Dec. 5, 1919 to Wilbert and Florence Hays in Nora Springs, Iowa. She resided in Augusta from 1994 to 1198 when she moved to Albuquerque.
She is survived by: daughter, Billie Paul of Augusta; son, Mario Gallo of Albuquerque; step children, Josephine Jimenez of Rochester, Minn., Margaret Graham of Mason City, Iowa, Beatrice Ray and Mercedes Cantu of Des Moines, Iowa; 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gallo.
Local arrangements will be handled by Dunsford Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
Beauford L. Small
Beauford Leon Small, 82, Jasper, Mo., retired machinist: and United States Army veteran, father of Chuck Small and Ronald Keith Small, both of Augusta, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004.
His funeral service was held today at Weng Funeral Chapel in Jasper. Burial followed at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Mo.
His other survivors include: wife, Reba; son, Terry Small of Afghanistan; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Jasper Christian Church.
Arrangements were under the direction of Weng Funeral Chapel of Jasper, Mo.

Mary F. Winzer, 78, Augusta, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Augusta First Christian Church.
Visitation from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mary was born on April 11, 1926 in Leon to Arti and Florence (Ward) Wentz. She worked as a medical assistant with Anderson and Barber Family Practice from 1964 to 1986 and retired. She was married to Gene Bohon from 1945 to 1972. She married Ralph Schnabel in 1974. In 1990 she married Bill Winzer. They all preceded her in death.
Survivors include: son, Ken Bohon and wife, Kerry of Augusta; daughters, Cathy and husband, Jim Wheeler of Glendale, Ariz., Connie and husband, Jim Dean of Gardner; step son, Dennis Schnabel of Wichita; step daughter, Kim and husband, Terry Olds of Wichita; brother, Don and his wife, Nelva Wentz of Augusta; sister, Pat Stanley and husband, Bob of Augusta; grandchildren, Rob and Leslie Bohon, Scott McCollum, Nicole Bohon, Chris and Delores Wheeler, Courtney and Lindsay Dean; great-grandchildren, Bailey Bohon, Alexandrea and Tristan Wheeler.
Memorials to First Christian Church and American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Charles Martin Light, 75, Howard, rancher and retired school bus driver and maintenance worker and brother of Norma Lord of Augusta, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004.
Funeral service was held this morning at Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard.
His survivors are: wife, Clara Alice; sons, Martin and Randy, both of Howard; daughter, Tina Shipley of Howard; sisters, Harriet Hyler of Howard, Jean Long of Cedar Vale; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
Arrangements were under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home of Howard.

Betty A. Bucher, 77, Douglass, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglass First Baptist Church.
Visitation from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.
Her survivors include: husband, James; son, Kirby “Skip” of Douglass; daughter, LeAnn Skinner of Andover; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Memorial established with the First Baptist Church in Douglass.
