George F. Lucier

George F. Lucier, 57, Wichita, father and father-in-law of Courtney and Kelly Mayfield of Augusta, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2005.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 25, at Cross Road Fellowship Bible Church in Wichita.
George was born on Sept. 23, 1948 at Troy, N.Y. served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971. He was employed as a service and equipment specialist for Patterson Dental and was a member of Cross Road Fellowship Bible Church.
He is survived by: his wife, Vickie Lucier; mother, Katherine (Kerwin) Lucier; sisters, JoAnn (Tom) Deso of Andover, Mass., Kathy (Doug) Nadoraski of Albany, N.Y.; grandchildren, Dakota, Madylan and Lilliah.
He was preceded in 'death by his father, George F. Lucier and grandson, Dylan.
Flowers and memorials may be sent to Cross Road Fellowship Bible Church, 7315 W. 13th, Wichita, 67212.
Affinity Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Harold D. Daniel

Harold D. Daniel, 63, Augusta, Hampel Oil Fleet manager, died Saturday, s March 19,2005. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23 at the Church at the Cross in Wichita.
Visitation with family present, 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita.
Survivors include: his wife, Jeanette of the home; mother, Irene of Leewood; children, Ed of Rose Hill, Randy of Benton, Tracy of Augusta, Tisha Maydew of Benton, and Kent of Pittsburg; sisters, Mary Jarnargan of Bentonville, Ark., Carolyn Poplin of Springdale, Ark., Peggy Graham of Fayetteville, Ark., Pat Geier of Leewood; 11 grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Abundant Life Tabernacle Sound Ministries, P.O. Box 848, Andover, 67002.
Arrangements under the direction of Cochran Mortuary of Wichita.

Clyde Medkief Jr.

Clyde Medkief Jr., 80, Augusta, retired Boeing senior engineer, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2005.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, at the First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Clyde spent most of his 33 years at Boeing teaching in the B-52 Bomber Remodification Project. He received recognition from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for his written proposal on liquefied gas.
He was also entered in the Apollo/Saturn V Roll of Honor for supervision of the launch support equipment at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
He was a United States Marine World War II veteran and had been involved with the VFW, Elks Lodge, Augusta Country Club, the Mason/Blue Lodge,
and the Augusta First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, visiting with friends, and spending time with his youngest granddaughter, Crozby LeAnn Hughes of Rose Hill.
He settled in Augusta in March of 1984 with his wife;1 Helen. She survives. Other survivors include: sons, John Medkief of Fla., Rickie Lee Medkief of Calif.; daughter, Darinda of Fla.;
step sons, Clay Blades of Wichita, the late Lynn and Lance Blades; step daughter, Leesa Hughes of Rose Hill; 14 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vergie Jones and father, Clyde Medkief, Sr., both of Texas.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church in Augusta. Headley Funeral Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
