Roy F. Bozone

Roy F. Bozone, 76, Augusta, passed away Friday, April 1, 2005.
His funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April
God in Augusta. Burial Will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence.
Visitation until 8 p.m. today, April 4, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mr. Bozone was born in Florence on July 28, 1928, son of the late Willard Samuel and Minnie Lee (Buxton) Bozone.
He served as a minister at Assembly of God churches in Andover and Jetmore, as well as in Iowa and Missouri. He was also the owner of R.F. Bozone Construction Co.
He is survived by: daughters, Elaine and husband, Eddie Anderson of Wichita, Marlene Arnold of Augusta; brother, Samuel Bozone of Hugoton;
sisters, Nora Anderson of Hugoton, Laura Blosser of Yates Center; granddaughter, Jessica Ledford of Apex, N.C.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Betty Jo Maish

Betty Jo Maish, Towanda, 81, retired Towanda city librarian, died Saturday, April 2, 2005.
Her service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation with family until 8 p.m. this evening, April 4, with additional visitation 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 5..
Survivors are: husband, J.D. “Jimmie” Maish of Towanda; son, Jim Maish Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Darrel Kichler of Towanda; sister, Laura Bell White of Bartlesville, Okla.;
grandchildren, Amy Jo and Don Maish, Kevin and Kara Kichler.
Memorials to Towanda City Library, 620 Highland, Towanda, 67144.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Alma Diggs

A funeral service for Alma Diggs, 82, Ottumwa, la., paternal grandmother of Deb Cossel of rural Augusta, was held March 23. Burial was in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery there.
In addition to the granddaughter here, Mrs. Diggs is survived by four children, 10 other grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was a retired employee of the John Morrell Meat Co. in Ottumwa.

Marie O’Dell

Marie O’Dell, 89, Panama City, Fla., died March 24, 2005. She was the maternal grandmother of James Sutton of Augusta.
Mrs. O’Dell also leaves daughter Carolyn Wallace of El Dorado, two other daughters, six other grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A cremation is being planned by the Heritage Funeral Home of Panama City.

Hailey Elizabeth Bastian

Hailey Elizabeth Bastian, infant daughter of Kara Leedom and Kevin Bastian of Augusta, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Other survivors include: grandparents, Christopher and Stacy Sanders of Augusta, Viki and Bob Sutton of Farmington, Utah; great-grandparents, Henry and Dorothy Leedom of Augusta.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
