Douglas Keith Kellogg, 43, Augusta, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2005.
His funeral service was held this morning at Central Baptist Church, Augusta. Interment followed at Benton Cemetery.
Doug was born on Aug. 8, 1961, in Washington, Kan., the son of Gene R. and Joy (Choate) Kellogg.
He married Christa Bickham on April 16, 1994 at Central Baptist Church. Doug loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.
He most treasured time spent with his kids. He coached little league baseball and soccer, and served on the Little League Board. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan whether they were winning or losing. He was always there to stand up for the "little guy."
Doug will always be remembered for the love he had for his wife and children. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His survivors include: his wife, Christa of the home; children, Zachary, age 8, triplets, Clara, Hannah, and Jarod, age 6, and Cortney, age 4; parents, Gene and Joy Kellogg; brothers, Richard and wife Teresa, Jeffery and wife Ginger, and Brian; sister, Brenda Haylor and husband Howard; mother-in-law, Karen Bickham, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A memorial educational fund for the Kellogg children has been established in care of Prairie State Bank.
