Charles E. Collins

Charles E. Collins, 66, Hooker, Okla., retired KG& E lineman and special equipment operator, formerly of El Dorado and Augusta, passed away on Jan. 1,2008.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
He is survived by: wife, Bertha of the home; son, David of McClouth; stepdaughter, Cherry (Clay) Rider of Hooker, Okla.; mother, Lucile Collins Blankenship of El Dorado; sister, Marcia (Gerald) Guy of El Dorado, and Trudy (Duane) Claycamp,
Augusta; four grandchildren.
Arrangements by Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.

Dennis A. Liebert

Dennis A. Liebert, 55, Goddard, Beech/Raytheon
machinist, father of Cory Carrell of Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008.
Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday; service at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivors include: wife, Judy; mother, Emma Liebert; daughter, Misty Walters; step-daughters, Wendy Enlow, Tracey Velazquez-Wallace, Jennifer Storm, and April McCallister; brothers, Darrell and Doug; 17 grandchildren.
Arrangements with Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, Wichita.

Doris B. Cody

Doris B. Cody, 93, Mulvane, homemaker, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008.
Visitation will be from 3 -8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2008. Funeral service at 2
p.m. Tuesday, Jan.15, both at Senter-Smith Mortuary, Mulvane.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Craig Cruit of Augusta; nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death
by her husband Emery.
A memorial has been established with Mulvane United Methodist Church Music Department, 107 S. Central, Mulvane.

O.D. Giese

O.D. Giese, 75, Augusta, retired Cessna machinist, died on
Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008.
No services.
Survivors: sister, Judy Nida of Augusta, Norma Todd of Washington; numerous nieces and nephews.

Arlone M. Kaiser

Arlone M. Kaiser, 76, retired Texaco security guard of Leon, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008.
Viewing until 7 p.m. this evening and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Graveside service 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Leon Cemetery.
Arlone was born on July 15, 1931 in El Dorado, the daughter of the late Leo Lee and Bernice Lucille (Wakefield) Stokes.
She is survived by: several nieces and nephews; cousins, Leonard Wakefield of Augusta, Earl Wakefield
of El Dorado, and Ruby Hatter of Tulsa, Okla.
Memorials to Lakepoint Nursing Center, Augusta.
Arrangements entrusted to Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.

Betty Pinon

Betty Dean- Pinon, 84, El Dorado, died on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Interment will follow in Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
Those she leaves are: her children and their spouses,
Dale and Tracie Dean of Vero Beach, Fla., Loweta and Don Finlay of Augusta, Debbie and Tom Beardslee of Andover;
nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.

Julie Ann Taylor, 49, Wichita, former Lear Jet employee passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008.
Memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
She is survived by children; Leif Ernst and Andrea & Ryan Staley, siblings; William C. Taylor, Alice M. (Todd) East of Augusta,
Michelle Otis, Joe Minson, Mike (Tammy) Minson, Bobby (Jennifer) Minson, and Joy Fraser; niece Katie East.
