Henry Carlton Chinn, Sr.

Henry Carlton "Hank" Chinn, Sr., 84, farmer, Dad, Grand Dad, Great-grand Dad, best friend
and our super hero, Augusta, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2008.
Viewing 1-8 p.m. Friday, with family to greet friends from 5-7 p.m. and service 10 a.m. Saturday, January 12, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Interment at Latham Cemetery.
Mr. Chinn was born in Latham on March 5, 1923, the son of the late Jesse Vinton and Frances
Elizabeth (Sensenbaugh) Chinn. He
served in the U.S. Army Air Force from April 27,1944 to Dec. 10, 1945. After receiving an honorable discharge he took on the responsibility of taking care of the farm. After his marriage to Belva Jean Pfeil on June 9, 1946, in Wichita, they operated a dairy farm south of Wichita until 1952, then east of Rose Hill from 1952 until 1975, and finally from 1978 to 1986 northwest of Augusta. He was a hard working
farmer and cattle rancher until his passing.
He is survived by: daughter Carla Jean Purdy and her husband Cleave of Augusta; son Henry Carlton "Hank" Chinn Jr. and his wife Jan of Augusta; daughter Terri Lee Chinn of El Dorado; daughter Lynda Marie McClure and her husband Craig of Douglass; son Michael Wayne Chinn of Augusta; brothers, Jack Maxwell Chinn; Fred Lee Chinn; Stanley Gene Chinn; sister, Cleta Rosemond Mitchell; grandchildren and spouses, CarLyn and Dale Willingham, Jon Patterson, Robert and Kelly Patterson, Misty and Tony Duesing, Myndi and Roman Smith, Jeremy and Erin Chinn, Mandi and MAJ Chris Turner, Tony and Darla Watkins, Tim Watkins, Tera and Ben Camp, SGT Chris and Candace Watkins, Ann and John Heise, Sara McClure, Mary, Ali and McKenzie McClure, LCPL Michael Chinn Jr., Ariel, Autumn and Alexis Chinn; great-grandchildren: Casey, CayLee, Carly Willingham; Preston, Tayler and Brooke Patterson; Amanda, Ashley, Ben, Bailey and Macey Chinn; Landry, Dayton and Jayden Turner; Cheyenne, Dakota, Jaylean, Garrett, Danielle and Bailie Watkins; ’ Caleb and Colton Camp; j Hayden and Landon Heise.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Belva Jean; brother, Ernest Wayne, and sister, Betty Rakes.
Memorials to the Parkinson Foundation, Heartland Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Arlone M. Kaiser, 76, of Leon, passed away Wednesday January 9, 2008.
Services are pending with Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Darlene J. Stephenson, 79, Sedan, died on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008.
Service at 1 P-m. Thursday, at the First United Methodist Church, Sedan.

Hazel L. Kinsley

Hazel L. Kinsley, 94, of Augusta, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, Jan.14, 2008.
Viewing
2-8 p.m. Thursday with family to greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Headley
Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Her service will be 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan.18,2008 at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Hazel was born in Pulaski County, Mo. on May 17, 1913; the daughter of the late John Anderson and Ida Florence (Mackney)
Daniels.
She had worked as a hair-
dresser and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Augusta.
On June 14, 1935 she married Everett Kinsley in Richland, Mo. He preceded her in death as well as three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Janelle Anderson and husband Jack of Beaumont, Texas; and a sister, Clara Miller of Augusta.
