Donna Styles

Donna Christine Styles, 52, Augusta, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Donna was born on April 10, 1955 in El Dorado, to Maynard and Juanita (Whitbeck) Wilks.
She is survived by: her mother, Juanita Wilks of Augusta; three children, Kristin, Ron Jr., and Christopher; eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the Augusta Senior Center.

Harold F. Young

Harold F. Young, age 87, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, in Augusta. He was attended by his family.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday; funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be at Walnut Valley Cemetery in El Dorado.
Harold was born on May 7,1920 to Charles and Anna (Sheeks) Young in Winfield. He graduated from El Dorado High School. He then attended El Dorado Junior College.
He married Elizabeth (Betty) Goff on Dec. 20, 1941. They had two daughters Sidney Jean Niemann and Paula Louise Markley.
Harold began working for Mobil in 1940. In 1941, he began serving in the Army in Europe during WWII. After the war, he returned to work at the Mobil Refinery in Augusta until he retired as an operations supervisor in 1983 after 43 years.
Harold was an avid farmer and very much involved with his family and their activities. He and his wife attended Cumberland Community Church. He served on many boards, groups and committees including, Kiwanis Club, Various 4-H Clubs, member of Augusta BOE and Tadlock School BOE, President of RWD #2, Trustee of Spring Township, and OCAW financial secretary at Mobil.
He is survived by: his wife, Betty; daughters, Sidney (Mitch) Niemann and Paula (Galen) Markley; grandchildren, Amy Ray, Jeremiah (April) Markley, Jeff (Steph) Ray, Esther Markley (Kevin) Brown, Leah Markley-Burkhalter, and Joshua Markley; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Judah and
Alayna Markley, Raven and Crystal McIntosh, Dakota Taylor, Briahanna Brown, and John Burkhalter.
Memorial contributions can be made to New Tribes Mission.
