Vergil D. Hime

Vergil Dan Hime, 87, Augusta, re-tired electrician for Via Christi St.
Joseph Medical Center and Mobil Oil passed away, Wednesday, April 16, 2008.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral service 10 a.m., Monday, April 21, at Christ Lutheran Church, with Rev. John Einem officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta immediately following the service.
Vergil was born March 18, 1921 in Augusta to Ralph Leroy and Laura Catherine (Reef) Hime.
He served in the US Army during WWII.
On April 6, 1946 Vergil married Helen Lucille Jones in Wichita.
Survivors: wife Helen Hime of the home; sons and daughters-in-law Douglas (Nancy) Hime of
Newport, Rhode Island, David (Connie) Hime of Wichita, Maurice (Terry) Hime of Denison, Kans.; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, brothers, John, Ralph and Lee, and a sister Christina Rubien Cron.
Memorials are established with Christ Lutheran Church, 1500 Cron, Augusta, 67010.

Stanley R. Robinson

Stanley R. Robinson, 87, of Longmont, Colo., formerly of Augusta, died April 15, 2008 at his home.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 21, at Elmwood Cemetery with military honors. Those attending should use the 12th street entrance.
Stanley was born May 5, 1920 in Peabody to Ed-
ward and Ella (Trowbridge) Robinson. He served during World War
II in the US Army Air Corps in the 315 Bomb Wing, 31st Squadron in Guam.
On Sept. 24,1941 he married Patricia Jones in Wichita. They moved to Longmont from Augusta, in 1980. Stanley was a prominent businessman who owned an operated Robinson Electric for 35 years in Augusta until 1980. After moving to Longmont he worked for A & H Mechanical in Longmont, retiring in 1991. Stanley
was a member of Longmont Community Nazarene Church. A 60 year member of the American Legion and member of Post 32 of Longmont, The VFW Post 2601 and Elks Lodge 1055 of Longmont. Stanley’s hobby was as a skilled craftsman, treasured pieces made by him are a porch swing, flower carts and several large scale airplanes.
Stanley is survived by his wife Pat of Longmont, Colorado; two daughters; Sue Jones and her husband Ray, and Jan Colvin and her husband Robert, both of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; sister, Edith White of Redding, Calif.; four
grandchildren, Bryce Jones and Katie Jones, Amy Nix and Jeremy Colvin; seven greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Kay Lyn Robinson in 1979, six brothers and two sisters.
