Lloyd P. Sharp

Lloyd P. Sharp, 86, Douglass, retired dock hand with Santa Fe Trailways and WWII veteran ammunition truck driver, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening, at Hilyard Smith Funeral Home in Douglass. Funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Douglass.
Survivors include: children, Lindon Sharp, Gwen Choens, and Patrick Sharp; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Lyle Sharp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beedie.

Virginia June Lewick

Virginia June Lewick, 90, of Lincoln, Kan., retired doctor’s assistant, and sister of Wanda Elliott of Augusta, died on Oct. 31,2008.
Visitation from 1 to 7 p.m., with family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7; funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, both at Hall Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Other survivors include: husband, Daniel Clayton Lewick; sons, Dan “Boone” Lewick; daughter, Lleanna McReynolds; sister, Marilee Paynter; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pansy R. Kirch

Pansy R. Kirch, 86, of Augusta, passed away, Monday, Nov 3,2008.
Viewing 1-8 p.m. Sunday, with family to greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Pansy was born in Cleveland, Okla, on October 27, 1922; the daughter of the late Harry LeRoy and Pearl (Bahaylle)
Smith. She worked as a supervisor at Boeing for 34 years. On March 17, 1943 she married John Watkins, Sr. at the Christian Church in Augusta. She married Harold F. Kirch on April 23, 1976. They both preceded her in death as well as a brother, Lee Smith and a sister, Betty Lipscomb.
She is survived by: son, John Watkins Jr. and wife Angie of Rose Hill; half brothers, Bill Smith, Cleve "Bud" Smith, Harland "Don" Smith, and Paul Smith; half sisters, Eudora LaBass,
Lilly Hefflin, Shirley Graham, and Joyce Moore; grandchildren, John Watkins III (Christy) of Rose Hill, James Watkins (Kathy) of Augusta, and Tabitha Bas-
gall (Aaron) of Rose Hill; great grandchildren, Ryan, Garett, Blake and Aaron Watkins. Memorials to First Baptist Church.
