Jennie Mae Howard
Jennie Mae Howard, 90, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, Feb.28,2010 in Howard Wichita. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday and service 10 a.m.. Saturday, March 6,2010, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Jennie was born in Meade, Kan. on Jan. 29, 1920; the daughter of the late George and Hannah (Barragree) Pillsbury.
She graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Winfield. She worked as a nurse for Dr's. Anderson and Barber in Augusta for 15 years and later as a charge nurse for the American Red Cross bloodmobile until she retired. Jennie was active and enjoyed golfing, cooking, quilting or sewing, traveling, and visiting with family and friends. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society in Augusta. On July 10,1945 Jennie married Raymond C. Howard in Alva, Okla. He preceded her in death on March 30,1976. She was also preceded in death by son, Terry Howard; brothers, Crawford, Homer, Henry "Arky," Walter and Danny Pillsbury; sisters Irene Adams, Gertrude Long, Rosaline "Teed" Slack and Catherine McMillin.
Robert H. Crossman
Robert H. Crossman, 73, Douglass, retired Air Force Master Sergeant and retired Boeing Manufacturing planner, died on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010.
Visitation from 5-8 p.m. this evening at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita. Graveside service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
Survivors include: daughter, Stephanie (Rex) Allen; son, Robert A. Crossman; sisters, Irene Boyd, June Crossman, Virginia Relyea, Louis Mason, and Johanna Lundius; brother, Paul Crossman; three grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Operation Family Fund, P.O. Box 837, Ridgecrest, CA 93556.
Noble Elton Smith
Noble Elton Smith, 85, Andover, retired entrepreneur, died on Thursday, Feb. 25,2010.
Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, at Lakeside Christian Fellowship, 1922 American Dr., Lago Vista, Texas.
His survivors include: wife, Posey; son, Mike; brothers, IE and Bart^; two grandsons; one step grandson and one step great-grandson.

Michael “Mike” LaFever, 36, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of An-
George Albert Worrell Jr.
George Albert Worrell, Jr., 68 of Leon, died Friday, Feb. 26,2010.
Visitation with the family will be from 6-7:30 p.m. this evening at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, at Leon Methodist Church. Interment will follow the funeral services in the Leon Cemetery.
He was born on Jan. 7, 1942, the son of George Albert and Virginia Rose (Boley) Worrell, Sr. He spent all his life in the Leon area and graduated from Leon High School. George had sold feed for Ralco Feeds. He had attended Ark City College for a couple of years, but didn’t graduate.
He loved shooting clay, gardening, watching wrestling, hunting, drag racing, tools and helping other people.
Those who survive are: daughter, Chelsea, Leon; son, Ryan and wife Bre’De, Augusta; brothers, and their spouses— John and Sandra Worrell, Leon, Steve and Susan Worrell, Wichita, and Dave and Nancy Worrell, Andover; an aunt, Helen Boley, Derby; a stepdaughter and husband, Tina and Jeff Warren, El Dorado; a step-son and wife, Kenny and Tammy Hunnell, Halstead; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents, and a brother, Dent E. Worrell.

Viewing from 2-8 p.m. today, at Smith Mortuary in Derby. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Christian Chapel Foursquare in Wichita. Graveside service at 2:30 p.m., at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Arkansas City.
Survivors: son, Kenneth (Carol) Baber of Atlanta, Kan.; daughters, Karen (Dick) Cottle of Douglass and Grace Baber of Wellington; brother, Robert Harding of Stillwater, Okla.; sisters, Florence Meadows of Haysville, Jenbejle Crow of Arkansas City, and Alice Hesket of Geuda Springs; 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
