Geraldine Sellens

Geraldine Sellens, 81, Augusta, died July 10, 2010.
She is survived by: husband of 58 years, Alvin; son, David A. Sellens and spouse, Janet of Overland Park; daughter, Alexa L. Harrelson and spouse, Wayne of Augusta; grandchildren are Jaclyn Morton and spouse, Steve, Derek Sellens, Robert Trout and James Trout. Her greatgrandchild is Dhara Morton.
Gerry was a devoted mother and housewife. She was active at various times in the Presbyterian Church, as a museum volunteer, as a cub scout leader, girl scout community chairman and other volunteer activities. Besides these many areas of interest, she did the books and helped conduct a book and antique tool business from the home.
Gerry will also be fondly remembered by two sisters and a brother of Indiana and their families.

Ruth Knox

Ruth Knox, 97, of Leon, died Wednesday July 7,2010.
Services were held Monday, at Leon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: daughters, Dianne Knox and Sharon (Curt) Miller, all of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Mariana Wilson of El Dorado; two grandchildren; one great-grandson.
Memorial with Leon United Methodist Church.

Josephine Small

Josephine Esther Small, 74, Wichita, Beech Aircraft upholster, passed away July 8, 2010.
Funeral was held today at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichitha.
She is survived by: her husband, Doran; son, David (Tess) Small of Colwich; daughters, Patty (John) Thomas of Augusta, Connie Shahan of Andover,
Julie (Darrin) Lewis of Augusta; sister, Dorothy Pafford of Hardesty, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial established with American Cancer Society.

Alfred B. Moeller

Alfred B. Moeller, 91, of rural De Smet, S.D., farmer, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
Funeral services were held at Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard, SD, and burial was in the De Smet City Cemetery.
His survivors include: sons, Richard of De Smet and Roger R. (Gwen) of Howard, SD; daughters, Dianna of De Smet, Virginia (Guy, Sr.) Spillman of Augusta, Ann (Bob) Meyer of Huron, SD, Holly (Donovan) Weigel of Plainfield, 111., and Grace (Bruce) Marsden of Lewiston, Mont.; 11 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; two nieces; numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in
death by: his parents, Fredinand and Mary E. Moeller; his wife, Dorothy; sister, Rosella Hegdahl; brother, Walferd “Bill,” half-brother, Russell Richardson.

Dorothy I. Reece

Dorothy I.Reece, 61, Grove, Okla., Southwestern Remodeling bookkeeper, passed away Saturday, July 10,2010.
Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 14; service, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15, both at Downing &
Lahey Mortuary West, Wichita.
Preceded in death by husband, Dean.
Survivors: daughter, Wendi Aumiller of Wichita; son, Chad Ervin of Augusta; mother, Lona Ratcliff of Hutchinson; sister, Sheila Hinshaw (Gail) of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren.
