Deaths & Services

Carolyn Myers

Carolyn (Lipscomb) Myers, passed away peacefully Nov. 3, 2010 in her own home.
She is survived by: her husband, Mike Myers of Augusta; daughter, Alicia Myers of Augusta; sisters, Charlotte Dickson of Tucson, Ariz., Trudy Hurd, Augusta; brother, John Lipscomb; and mother Radean Lipscomb, Tucson, Ariz.
She was born and grew up in El Dorado, and lived her married life on a ranch near Augusta,
Her first love was for our LORD, and she lived her life asking Him to guide her every decision. She has always trusted in the Wisdom of His Plan for her life.
To my husband: Mike Myers, “My love for you will last forever. Each second of our time together was precious; you taught me love and patience.” And to my only child, Alicia Lenae Myers, “You’ve been the light of my life. In my lifetime you were the miracle God gave me. I’ve always been grateful for the love that connects our hearts and minds and has forever kept us close. You were my Heaven on Earth, I loved you the • most.” To all my family and friends throughout my life, “You gave so much to me; a listening ear, a soothing voice, a caring heart, a helping hand, a healing hug, and a cheering smile. Thanks for all of you being a part of my life here on earth. My time spent in heaven waiting on you will all be worthwhile when I see each of you coming through Heaven’s Gate...where we will be together for eternity.” Private donations can be sent to Heartland Hospice, 3210 W. Kellogg Dr., Wichita, KS 67213 in lieu of flowers. Please pray for my family to ease their pain and then pray for yours to treasure each other.
