Wallace M. Dunn
Wallace M. Dunn, 85, of Wichita, retired college professor and church organist, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010.
Memorial service 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, First Presbyterian Church, Wichita. Honorary organ prelude at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the First Presbyterian Church Organ Fund, 525 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214.

Keith Van Horn
Keith Donovan Van Horn, 83, died on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14; the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, both at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Keith was born March 27,1927 in Wichita, to Leo Edward and Goldie Ernestine (Ramsey) Van Horn. He grew up> i-mOil Hilly Kan.and graduated from El Dorado High School in 1944. Keith served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and married Joan A. Murray on June 6,1948 in El Dorado. Keith then graduated from the University of Kansas in 1950. He worked for Cities Service Oil Company/Occidental Petroleum from 1950-1990 retiring as a regional manager of production.
After retirement he and Joan owned and operated JK Pecan Orchard in Gar-dendale, Texas and were also members of the West Texas RV Club. They enjoyed traveling throughout North America for over 15 years:
Community involvement included Boy Scouts (joining at the age of 12) from 1939-2000 where he was Past President of Buffalo Trails Council in Midland, Texas, Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow and received his Silver Beaver and Silver Antelope. Keith was also a member of the Masons Royal Lodge #192 in Lyons, Kansas and the Shriner Lodge El Paso Scottish Rite. He was also an active member at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Midland, Texas.
Survivors include: his wife, Joan Van Horn of 62 years of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons, Larry (Susanna) Van Horn of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Craig (Donna) Van Horn of Edmond, Okla.; daughters, Debby (Roger) Vester of Georgetown, Texas and Sharon (David) Stone of Blanchard, Okla, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Angel Bright Hospice, 3213 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 or in care of Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel in Chanute.
Most of his life he was a carpenter. But he later owned and operated J &
L Tall Tales Bait Shop in Toronto and owned and operated Tornado Game Room in Eureka.
He is survived by: his companion, Cathleen Williams, of the home; daughters, Sue Weitzel and her husband,
Richard, Chanute, Debra Wiles and her husband, Gary, Chanute, Brenda Cox, Neodesha, Leona Bever and her husband, Rick, and stepdaughter Jackie Denner; one son, Tim Cox and his wife, of lola; one stepson, Rex McVey of Yates Center;
16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Cox, Augusta, and Carl Cox, Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association and may be left with the funeral home.

Bertie Sullivan Crow, 90, Wichita, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2010,
Service 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, at University Congregational Church.
Survivors include husband of 67 years, Ernest W. Crow; children, Barbara (Ed) Biersmith of Monroe, La., John (Claudia) Crow of Atlanta, Ga., Marilyn (Dan) Waller of Andover, and Rick (Karen) Crow of Lenexa; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Wichita Children's Home, 810 N. Holyoke, Wichita, KS, 67208 and Larksfield Health Care Center, 7373 E. 29th St. N., Wichita, KS 67226.

Survivors include: children, Nancy (Mike) Russell of Andover, Richard Staats of Wichita, and Susy (David) Endicott of Newport Beach, Calif.; one granddaughter; sister, Dorothy Cowell; sister-in-law Joan Yingst; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
