John Ray

John Delas Ray, 94, El Dorado, retired welder, passed away on Sunday, Jan 16, 2011.
Visitation 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22 with funeral service following at 2 p.m., both at Greenwich United Methodist Church, 5500 N Greenwich. Interment will follow at Towanda Cemetery in Towanda.
He was born June 22, 1916 in Whitewater, Kan. to Charles Abrahm and Sara Jane "Mosier" Ray. John married Vivian on Oct. 21,1938 in Wichita.
He is survived by: his wife, Vivian; daughter, Mary (Gerold) Wright; son, Richard(Sharon) Ray; daughter, Joan Ray; 6 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
John was preceded in death by his five brothers, one sister and grand son, Richard Earl.

Survivors: husband, Alan; sons, Robert E. of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Max A. of Yale, Okla..; daughters, Teresa R. Schultz of Palm Harbor, Fla., Jaunita K. Tichenor of Bentonville, Ark.,Nancy K. Brown of Andover, Dixie Fisher of Burrton; brothers, Jim Cutting of Calif., and Roger Cutting of Mission, Texas.; 15 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucinda (Ramsey) Cutting; brother, Dean Cutting; sister, Juanita Cutting; and a grandson, Lucal Fisher.
