Vcvea Viola Stephenson
Vevea Viola “Vi” (Miller) Stephenson, 93, retired teacher, died June
I, 2011 at Pomona, Calif. The family will greet friends from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturedy, June II, at the Ziegler Funeral Chapel in Cimarron. Graveside service will follow at 2 pirn, that afternoon, at the Cimarron Cemetery.
Survivors include: sons, James Stephenson, Pomona, Calif, and John Stephenson, Whittier, Calif.; brother, Harold Miller of Augusta; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Laurence Stephenson, a son, Laurence Stephenson, Jr.
Arrangements by Ziegler Funeral Chapel in Cimarron.
Janet Rae Kroes
The funeral service for Janet Rae Kroes, a native of Augusta who passed
away on May 17, 2011, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.

Lloyd M. Moore
Lloyd M. Moore, 95, of Augusta, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011 while in the company of family members at home.
Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 p .m. Sunday, June 12, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, at Headley Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Lloyd was a lab technician for 43 years with Mobil Refinery of Augusta. He was born June 18,1915 in Butler County, the son of Rueben David and Edith Taylor Moore. He graduated from Potwin High School in 1933 and married Naomi Ullum on Sept. 10,1934.
Lloyd is survived by: his son, Tony B. Moore and wife Karen of Augusta; sister, Ruth Turner of Naples, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Beverly Applegate; eight grandchildren and he was blessed with numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Naomi; son, Gary L.; grandson, Michael Moore; three brothers and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Care Ministries Program at the Augusta First Christian Church, 1600 State St. Augusta, KS 67010.
