92, AUGUSTA
Marjorie M. Rich, 92, of Augusta passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.
Service 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at First Christian Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta.
Marjorie was born in Wichita on March 15, 1919, to the late Ethel (Hill) and Fred Shriver. She graduated from Towanda High School and El Dorado Junior College. Marjorie retired as an administrative assistant at Boeing after 36 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, PEO, Outlook Club, and Eastern Star. She also volunteered at McConnell AFB for over 20 years. On Dec.14, 1941, she married Ivan H Rich, Sr. and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Ivan Rich, Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Patsy Ruth Southard, 77, registered nurse, Augusta, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado.
She was born on June 17,1934 in Arkansas City, to Andrew Ralph and Artie Mae "Goodson" Gilliland. Patsy was a member of the Augusta First Southern Baptist Church and was a nurse at AMCI in Augusta for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles Southard.
Survivors include: son, Michael (Jeannie) Jacobs; siblings, Mary Ann (Jim) Burns, Betty Diver and Ben (Charlotte) Gilliland; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

David T. Evans, 58, of Augusta, machinist for A.P.P.H. Wichita, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2012.
Funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Baker Funeral Home, Wichita.
Dave is preceded in death by his infant son, Brian, and his brother, Paul.
He is survived by: wife, Linda; children, Virgil, Mark, Kathy, Terri and Melody; brother, Steve; and 16 grandchildren.

73, OTTAWA
Judith Ann Myers-Gallaway, 73, of Ottawa, Kan., died Saturday, Feb. 11,
2012.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, with family present 7-8 p.m.
Tuesday evening; funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, both at theDengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, just inside Douglas County.
She was born on Monday, Nov.14,1938, in La-Harpe, Kan., the daughter of Clarence L. "Bill” and Melvia Mae (Williams) Ransom.
Judy graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1956.
Following her marriage, she lived on a farm in the Centropolis area until moving to Ottawa in 1971. She worked for USD 290 in food service at Ottawa High School from 1974 until 1979 and then for King Radio (Allied Signal) from 1979 until retiring in 1999.
Judy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa; Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary of Ottawa; Goodyear Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #2187 Auxiliary in Topeka; Topeka North American Legion Auxiliary Unit #400; and Country Quilters of Topeka.
On Dec.l, 1956, Judy was united in marriage with Lester Myers in Centropolis, Kan. He preceded her in death on March 3,1986. On Feb. 17,1999, Judy was united in marriage with Harvey Gallaway in Miami,
Okla. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2011.
Survivors include: sons, Gary Lee Myers of Augusta, and Charles Alden Myers of Red Wing, Minn.; daughters, Kathy Ann Fleming of Mustang, Okla., and Linda Sue Gipson of Ottawa; sisters, Dorothy Wallace of Chanute, and Jane Davis of Belle Vista, Ark.; grandsons, James Gipson, Jr., Bryan Gipson, Douglas Gipson, Kristopher Gipson, Daniel Myers, Benjamin Myers, Matthew Fleming, Ethan Myers; granddaughters, Krystal Gipson, Elizabeth Myers, Kory Fleming, Kelly Dubala, Emma Myers; seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Mid-America Nutrition Site for Meals on Wheels, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through den-gelmortu-ary@sbcglobal.net.
