82.TOWANDA

Charles W. Luce, 82 of rural Towanda, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at his home.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at the Douglass Cemetery.
He was born on April 1,1929 in Atlanta, Kan., the son of Charles and Olive E. (Brannon) Luce. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Charles was a mechanic and worked in the Public Works Department for the City of Augusta for 18 years. He retired in 1994. He was a member of the American. Legion, the Good Sam Club and enjoyed working in his shop making crafts.
He married Betty Beckman on Feb. 14, 1986, in El Dorado.
Those who survive include: his wife, Betty; daughters, Twila Keen, Missouri, Ja Carson, El Dorado, Jo Owens, Altoona, Kan.; sons, Mark Gray, Mike Gray, both of Wyoming, Mitch Gray, Arizona; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Dorothy; a sister, Ethel Stewart; and grandson, Mitch Gray,Jr.

Wayne I. Madison, 75, of Augusta, passed | away Thursday,Feb. 23, 2012
Viewing will be from 6 p.m. until Rosary time at 7 p.m. on Monday and Mass 10 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 28, 2012, all at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta.

Fire units responded to the 1500 block of Ohio for a fuel spill.
A non-injury accident occurred in the 1200 block of Money when a 1984 Ford Bronco, owned by Gary S. Zongker, Augusta, was unoccupied and rolled away striking a sign owned by the City of Augusta. No damage reported to the vehicle, and $50 damages to the sign.
