73, AUGUSTA

Donna Elizabeth Redwine, 73, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday,
Nov.14, 2012 in Wichita.
Visitation 4-6 p.m. followed by Rosary at 6 p.m. Sunday, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Funeral Mass 10 a .m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Augusta.
Donna was bom in Monon, Ind. on March 3, 1939, the 10th child to the late Martin Edward and Emma (Zable) McCormick. She was also preceded in death by brother, Tom McCormick; sisters, Francis McCormick and Mary Alice Altman.
On Aug. 1,1959 she married John E. “Ed” Redwine in Francesville, Ind., and he survives her.
She is also survived by: son, John R. Redwine and wife Hollye of San Angelo, Texas; daughter,Jo Knox and husband Greg of Augusta; sisters, Lucille Miller (Ray) of Francesville, Ind., Patricia McKay (Herb) of Obetz, Ohio, and Charlotte Winner (Norm) of Gwinn, Mich.; brothers, Joe McCormick of LaCrosse, Ind., Glen McCormick (Chris) of South Chicago Hts. 111., Bob McCormick (Marilyn) of Ratcliff, Ky., Carl McCormick (Phyllis) of Lockport, 111., and Kenny McCormick (Barbara) of Francesville, Ind.; two granddaughters, Ashley Knox of Dallas and Rebecca Knox of Pratt.
Donna was a home maker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved crocheting, quilting, and reading. More than anything, she doted on her two precious granddaughters. She spent countless hours with them, playing games, teaching them to cook, and having fun.
She was strong in her faith and loved her church.

Rolando Deegan
40, NEODESHA

Rolando Laurio Deegan 40, seven year Walmart employee in Independence, Kan. passed away, Sunday, Nov., 18 2012 in Wichita.Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. with family greeting friends on Wednesday, Nov. 21, funeral service will be at 10 a.m. also on Wednesday Nov. 21, both at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Interment to follow in ElmWood Cemetery, Augusta.
Rolando was born May 11, 1972 in Masbate Phillippines to Rogelio and Salvacion (Lusanta Laurio. They preceded him in death.
He graduated from high school and attended two years of technical engineering school.
He is survived by: his sons, Jacob and Elijah Deegan all of Neodesha; adoptive parents, Dennis Deegan of Eureka and Nenita Deegan of Durham, North Carolina; brother Marcelo Deegan, Manila, Phillippines, sister, Lorena Canedy of Augusta; mother of his children, Amy Deegan, Neodesha; half brother, Bernard Haller, Durham, North Carolina; half sisters, Angie Butler, Durham, North Carolina and Mariteas Deegan of Emporia.
Memorial to the "Deegan Children's College Fund" in care of the funeral home.

95, AUGUSTA

Nelle E. Wills, 95, homemaker, of Augusta, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17,
2012 in Augusta.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, and graveside 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Hutchinson.
Nelle was born in Lowry City, Mo. on Dec. 6,1916, to the late Lula Pearl (Wetzel) and Fred Taylor Dewey. On Sept. 3,1939 at Spencer, Iowa she married Marvin B. Wills and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon and Clyde Dewey; sisters, Gertrude Cannon, Edna Williams, Berinta McCormick, Betty Jean Grugin and Donna Dewey.
She is survived by: daughter, Kay Capps of Phoenix; sons, Jim Wills of Liberal and Jerry Wills of Hutchinson.
Memorial donations to Augusta First Baptist Church Youth Scholarship Fund.
