Jimmie D. Linder, 86

Jimmie D. Linder, 86, Leon, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013.
A celebration of his life will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. T, 2013, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Survivors include: a son, Michael and wife Pam Linder, Towanda; a daughter, and her husband Karen and Bob Green, Mulvane; nephew, Robert Hickerson; six grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren and special friend, Lolita Knippther and her family.
Memorials for the VA Hospital may be left with Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado who has charge of the services. Condolences to the family can be sent to www.carlsoncolonial.com.

Richard D. Stewart, 63

Richard Duane Stewart, 63, of Augusta, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday,Dec. 4, 2013.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec.8, at Dunsford Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec.9, 2013, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 117 W. 6th, Augusta. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Richard was born Dec. 8, 1949, to Robert Wayne and Zeta Feme (Clay) Stewart in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He graduated from Glenwood High School and completed one year of trade school and one year of college. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He married Angela Davis on Feb. 18,1972, in Glenwood, Iowa. Richard worked for Boeing as a machinist for 15 years. He also worked for Cessna and John Deere and owned his own auto body shop. He lived and breathed antique cars and auto body repair.
His survivors include: his wife, Angela of the home; son, Samuel Stewart of Derby; daughters, Shaye and her husband Anthony Kindrick of Wichita, Shawna-cy and her husband Jeff Warren, and Shariece and her husband Samuel Vance, all of Augusta, Melissa McDermott and her husband Jon Mogck of Minneapolis, Minn.; 15 grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Paul Stewart, and a sister, Roberta Miller.
A memorial has been established with the church or with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice both in care of the funeral home.



ROVER, ARK.
Winded Wayne Gillum, 77

Windell Wayne Gillum, 77 of Rover, Ark. passed away Monday, Dec. 2,2013, at Chambers Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7,2013, at Leon Cemetery in Leon, Kan.
Wayne was born Dec. 2,1936 in Plainview, Ark. to the late Orval and Hazel Watson Gillum. He was a retired farmer and heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles and Bill Gillum.
Survivors include brothers, Lewis Gillum of Mt. Home, AR; Tom Gillum of El Dorado, KS; Gary Gillum of Neode-sha, KS; sisters Maggie Dubberstein of Winfield, KS; Marilyn Keil of Topeka, KS; Robin Hartman of Frisco, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
