Sister died in El Dorado
Hazel J. McCully, 84, of El Dorado, sister of Augustan William Ross, died Monday, April 4.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday with Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado in charge.
Survivors include: daughters, Alice Ruggles of Manhattan, Maxine Holmes of Burrton; brothers Charles E. Ross, Amarillo, Texas, Lloyd Ross and Raymond Ross, both of El Dorado, and William Ross of Augusta; sister Ruby Aubucheon, El Dorado; nine grandchildre; 15 great-grandchildren; two-great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with the El Dorado Alzheimer’s Support Group.

Services pending for Leslie Harvey
Leslie “Ray” Harvey, 50, of rural Douglass, died today, April 6, at his home.
Funeral arrangements pending with the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Maryln; and two sons, Les of Douglass and Troy of Memphis, Tenn.

Leslie R. Harvey died yesterday
Leslie Ray Harvey, 50, of rural Douglass, died yesterday morning, April 6, at home.
His funeral service will be 3 o’clock Friday afternoon, April 8, at the Leon United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jack Midddleton officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery here.
Memorials have been suggested to the Shrine Crippled Children Hospital or Plane of Mercy.
Harvey, a farmer, was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Tylertown, Miss., to Wilson Harvey and Velma Craft. His parents survive.
He married Maryln Peterson in Enid, Okla., on Nov. 29, 1958. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Les of Douglass and Troy of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Fay Fisher of Mulvane, his mother, Velma Sears, Columbua, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
He was a member of the Leon Methodist Church, the Joppa Lodge of Leon—Wichita Consistory and the Shrine.

Rachelle Sharbutt funeral on Sunday
Rachelle L. Sharbutt, 19, Leon, died yesterday, April 6, after a lengthy illness.
Her funeral service will be 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, April 10, in the Bluestem High School auditorium at Leon. The Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado is in charge of arrangements. Visitation hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Carlson chapel.
Rachelle was born Oct. 24, 1968 to James and Rebecca Sharbutt.
She was a graduate of Bluestem High School and member of the Assembly of God Church at Leon.
Rachelle was active in Girl Scouts and FHA during her school years.
She also leaves a brother, James II of Leon; sisters, Rebecca Langston of Madill, Okla., Regina Abbott of Leon, Joyce Alonso of El Dorado, and Janelle Sharbutt of Leon; grandmothers Mable Posey of Baxter Springs, Cleta Langley of Picher, Okla.
Memorials to Kansas Crippled Children have been suggested.

Lee Richardson died in Newton
Lee W. Richardson, 24, died Sunday, April 10, in Newton.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 13, at Elmwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. Memorial services will follow the graveside at 10:30 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Augusta. Rev. Robert Brooks and Rev. Burl Allison will officiate at the services.
He was born Nov. 16, 1963 in Ada, Okla., the son of Warren E. and Jane (Taylor) Richardson.
The family moved to Augusta in 1978 from Oklahoma City. He attended Augusta Middle School and Augusta High School. He was active in drama and art. He also enjoyed music. Lee was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Augusta.
Surivors are his parents, a sister, Lina Marcis, Carrollton, Texas, and a grandmother, Hazel L. Richardson, of Winfield.
A memorial has been established with the Augusta United Methodist Church, or to the Augusta City Library. Contributions may be sent to the Dunford Funeral Home Chapel, which is handling the arrangements.

Levi Montanye died on Saturday
Retired railroader Levi Montanye, 72, Wichita, stepfather of Ray Flickinger of Augusta, died Saturday, April 9.
His funeral will be 10 o’clock tomorrow, April 12, at the DeVorss-Flanagan Mortuary in Wichita.
In addition to the stepson here, Montanye leaves a wife, Norma; sons, Richard of Wichita and Larry of Bartlesville, Okla.; another stepson, Leon Flickinger of Wichita; a daughter, Rhea Myrick of Nash, Okla.; a brother, Vel of Amarillo, Texas; sisters, Ruth Green of Wichita and Ellen Cavanger of Glendale, Ariz., and four grandchildren.
Memorials to the American Heart Association have been suggested.
