Marion Cameron
Marion Cameron, 88, of Augusta died Friday, April 4, 1997, at Walnut Valley Manor.
She was born Dec. 8, 1908, and was a beautician.
There will be no services. Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Lewis W. Ecton
Lewis Walter Ecton, 89, of Augusta died Friday, April 4, 1997, at Augusta Medical Complex Long Term Care.
His graveside memorial service was today at Elmwood Cemetery.
Lewis Walter Ecton was born Aug. 19, 1907, to James Walter and Frances (Gilbert) Ecton in Douglas County, Mo.
He married Isa Joann Mallonee Jan. 25, 1925, in Squires, Mass.
He was a mill worker at Union Carbide in Uravan, Colo.
Survivors are wife, Isa Ecton of the home; sons, Vernon Ecton and Willis Ecton both of Augusta, Larry L. Ecton of Tucson, Ariz., and Raymond Ecton of Wellington; daughters, Wanda L. Cunningham and Norma J. Robb both of Tucson, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson and a great-grandson.

Jennie Ralston
Jennie Valentine Ralston, 98 of Augusta died Tuesday, Apri 22, 1997, at Augusta Medica Complex.
Her graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Vern Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow the service.
Jennie Valentine McClure was born Feb. 20, 1899, to Ira Willard and Nellie Pitkin (Viets) McClure.
She married Ralph Olin Ralston in Augusta. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are sons, Clee Ralston and Glen Ralston both of Augusta; sister, Florence Burris of Garden City; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio Augusta, KS. 67010. Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has the arrangements.

Ruby M. Sowell
Ruby Murilla Sowell, 91, of Augusta died Wednesday, April 16, 1997, at Medicalodge in Douglass.
Her memorial service will follow cremation. That service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Vasser United Methodist Church. Rev. Cal Dickenson will officiate. Burial will follow in Vasser Cemetery.
Ruby Murilla McCreight was born Dec. 22, 1905, to Jesse Hays and Martha Alice (Wards) McCreight in Quenemo.
She married Claude P. Sowell Oct. 24, 1935, in Lyndon. He preceded her in death in 1976..
She was a homemaker and a nurse at Halstead Hospital before her retirement.
Survivors are son, Keith Sowell of Augusta; daughters, Barbara Young of Douglass and Bertha Bailey of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Joe McCreight of Topeka; sisters, Bertha Swan of Wichita and Jessie Webber of Manhattan; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Medicalodge Activity Fund, 9541 S. Highway 77, Douglass, KS.
Services were arranged by Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
