Clarence Shields
Clarence Otis Shields, 89, of Augusta died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997.
His funeral service was Saturday, Dec. 13, at Hillside Funeral Home East, Wichita. Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita
Clarence Otis Shields was born May 1, 1908, in Long Island to James and Emma (Pierce) Shields.
He was a self employed lawn
care worker and a Goodwill receiver.
Survivors are wife, Mary Shields of Augusta; stepdaughters, Ellen Devor of Towanda, Linda Voreck of Augusta and Jan Norman of Salina; sisters, Eva Tyler of Wichita and Thelma Wilson of Salem, Ore.; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
