Betty L. Herold

Betty Lou Herold, 65 of Augusta, died Aug. 23, 1999.
Her funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday Aug. 27, at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel with Katrina Palan, of Martinson Avenue Christian Church, Wichita, conducting the service. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be held until 8 p.m. tonight at Dunsford Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow.
She was born Sept. 8, 1933 in Carthage, Mo., as the daughter of Odis Pritchard and Millie Morrison Pritchard.
She was married to Tom Herold on Feb. 12, 1955 at Fort Scott. He survives.
Mrs. Herold was homemaker.
She leaves her husband of more than 40 years, Tom, sons Brad Herold and Brent Herold both of Augusta, Todd Herold of Wichita; sisters Imogene Parent of Hot Springs, Ark. and Blanche Morgan, of Carthage, Mo. and grand children Danylle Herold and Jason Windorski.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made for children’s books at the Augusta Public Library.

Pauline Windholz

Pauline Patricia Windholz, 67, of Augusta died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999.
Her service will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 25, 1999 in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Dennis Cochran of Hospice Care of Kansas will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m tonight at the funeral home here.
She was born Jan.10, 1932 in Wichita to Edmond and Clara Louia.
Mrs. Windholz was a retired line inspector at Beech Aircraft and worked as a teller for the Augusta State Bank and the Prairie State Bank.
She is survived by husband Hilary, sons Jack James of Augusta, stepsons Larry Windholz of El Dorado, Wesley Windholz and Terry Windholz of Augusta, Rich Windholz of Manhattan; daughters Alison Jean Thomas of Towanda, Barbara Smart of Augusta, stepdaughter Sandy Drake of Lakeland, Fla.; brothers Fred and Robert Louia of Altoona, sisters Edna Farmer of Altoona, Sandy Drake of West Plains, Mo., eight grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, one greatgrandchild and one step-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, 630 N. St. Francis, Wichita, Kan.
