Harold Ralston

Harold Franklin Ralston, 95, of Augusta died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, at First United Methodist Church of Augusta with Rev. Vem Bowers officiating. Burial will follow the service in Elmwood Cemetery. Masonic graveside rites will be conducted by Mystic Tie Lodge 74.
Harold Ralston was born April 8, 1902, in Pittsburg to John Wesley and Jennie Phoebe (Newman) Ralston.
He married Lucille Weiss June 28,1939, in St. Marys.
Before his retirement, he was an employee at White Eagle Refinery. He was a member of Mystic Tie Lodge 74 and First United Methodist Church.
Survivors are wife, Lucille Ralston of Augusta and sons Bradley Ralston of Augusta and Rand Ralston of Wichita.
A memorial has been established with First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio, Augusta, KS. 67010.

Rebecca Baker

Rebecca Baker, 90, of Augusta died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, in Whitewater.
Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Amos Williams will officiate.
Rebecca Tolbert was bornn Sept. 2, 1906, in Everton, Mo. to Thomas and Jennie Frances (Jones) Tolbert.
She married Lawsion Baker in 1955 in Augusta and was a homemaker.
Survivors are son, Charles T. Robb of Augusta; daughter, Donna Driver of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Wheat State Manor, 601 S. Main, Whitewater, KS. 67154.

Barbara J. Hendrickson

Barbara J. Hendrickson of Augusta died May 20, 1997 at her home.
Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Dunsford Chapel.
Barbara J. Betty was born in El Dorado to Glen and Marjorie (Large) Betty.
She married Max Hendrickson Dec. 27, 1954, in El Dorado.
She retired from Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in January 1997. She was a consultant in infection control for hospitals and nursing home in the surrounding area for the past 15 plus years.
Survivors are husband, Max Hendrickson of Augusta; son, Mark Hendrickson of Orchard Park, N.Y.; daughter, Lisa Melane of Dallas, Texas, and step-father and mother, Walter and Marjorie Averrett of Grand Junction, Colo.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Inc., P.O. Box 3267, Wichita, KS. 67201-3267.
