Justin Beau Zlab

Justin Beau Zlab, 22, of Augusta and son of Gary Zlab of Augusta, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, in Wichita.
Visitation will be from 1 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Old Mission Mortuary, Wichita.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Maize Cemetery.
Justin Beau Zlab was born Aug. 28, 1975, in Wichita to Gary and Donna Zlab.
He was a cabinet maker for Precision Patterns in Wichita.
Survivors are mother and step-father, Donna and Larry Galyardt of Wichita; father and stepmother, Gary and Chona Zlab of Augusta; grandparents, Maxine and Ed Daniels of Wichita and Claire and Kenneth Zlab of Leon; stepsister, Lynn Dalrumple of Park City; and stepbrothers, Ryan Galyardt of the home and Bret Galyardt of Wichita.
The Justin Beau Zlab Memorial Art Scholarship has been established at North High School in Wichita. Contributions may be sent to Jeanine Leon - treasurer, 1437 Rochester, Wichita, KS.


James A. Dennett

James Arthur “Jim” Dennett,, 105, of Augusta, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 1997, at Augusta Med-
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta Chapel. Rev. Joseph H. Slater will officiate. Burial will follow in Dunlap Cemetery, Rose Hill.
James Arthur Dennett was born June 2, 1892, in Rose Hill to John Robert and Mary (Yeager) Dennett.
He married Viola F. Holcomb June 2, 1915, in Wichita. She preceded him in death.
He owned and operated a Western Auto and a grocery store before retiring.
Survivors are sons, Bill Dennett of Augusta and Dale Dennett of Buena Vista, Colo.; five grandchildren; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with AMCI Long Term Care and Augusta Senior Center, contributions may be sent through Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.

Eldon M. Tarman

Eldon M. Tarman, 87, of Augusta, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 1997, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His graveside service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec.
9, at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Tom Davis of First Christian Church will officiate.
Eldon Marvin Tarman was born Oct. 29, 1997, in Augusta to Edwin Ray and Ida Mabel (Fresh) Tarman.
He married Edith Nadine Simpson Feb. 15,1941, in Winfield.
He was a retired service station operator.
Survivors are wife, Edith Nadine Tarman of Augusta; son, Galen Wayne Tarman of Lawrence; Cheryl Jan Miller of Augusta and Angela McClure of Wichita; brother, Robert Eugene Tarman of Augusta; sisters, Isabelle Blandin of Aztec, N.Y., Wanda Shipman of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Catherin Davis of Winfield and six grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with First Christian Church of Augusta. Contributions may be sent through Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
