Thelma T. Warren
Thelma T. Warren, 88, of Opelousas, La., formerly of Augusta, died Wednesday, Feb. 18,1998.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday. Her graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 21, 1909 in Augusta to William B. Billy and Ethel Jones.
She married C.E. Ed Warren on Oct. 27, 1936 in Newkirk, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1990.
She was an employee of the Augusta Daily Gazette for six
years and an employee of Mobil Oil Refinery for 10 years. After moving to Louisiana she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Louisiana Memorial United Methodist Church in Opelousas.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Harold and Billy Jones.
Survivors include sister-in-law, Phyllis Jones of Apache Junction, Ariz.; nephews, Gary and Adam Jones, both of Phoenix, Ariz.
