Robert D. Bisagno
Retired Augusta Theatre owner-operator Robert D. “Bob” Bisagno, 74, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998 at the Lakepoint Nursing Center.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at First United Methodist Church.
Rev. Vern Bowers pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends until 8 o’clock this evening at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
He was born Feb. 10, 1924 in Wichita as the son of David Arthur and Aline Kay Bisagno.
On April 3, 1947, he and the former Norma Ryan were united in marriage in Kansas City, Kan. She survives.
Mr. Bisagno served with the Army Air Force in the European Theatre with the 457th Bomb Group photo section.
He was a member of the American Legion, Rotary, and the United Methodist Church. Mr. Bisagno also served on the Augusta City Council and the Augusta City Planning Commission.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Kay Bleakley of Mission Hills, and her husband Dave; a son, David Bisagno of Augusta and his wife Deann; a sister, June Parry of Oklahoma City, Okla., and three grandchildren.
Memorials to the United Methodist Church of Augusta, the Augusta Historical Society or the Augusta Arts Council have been suggested.
