Minerva Blandin

Minerva Pauline Blandin, 80, of Augusta, homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999.
Her funeral was today at the United Methodist Church. She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 5, 1918, in Tipton Ford, Mo., to James and Minerva (Pettay) Tester-man.
She was married to William Blandin Sept. 1, 1939, in Hutchinson.
Survivors include: husband, William Blandin; sons, James W. of Evergreen, Colo., and Larry E. of Leavenworth; sisters Irma Shuey of Denver, Colo., and Luciall Conway of Cyprus, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established to the Augusta Medical Complex, 2101 Dearborn, Augusta, Kan. 67010.
Services arranged by Hillside : Funeral Home, Augusta.

Dewey E. Knipp

Dewey E. Knipp, 74, of Wichita, retired self-employed plumber, stepfather of Tom Eagleson and Jerry Eagleson, both of Augusta, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999.
His funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Hillside Funeral Home East in Wichita.
Other survivors include: wife, Loleta; son, Edwin of Wichita; stepdaughter Jo Ann Eagleson of Mission Viejo, Calif., Kay Rogers of Summersville, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.
Memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements were by Hillside Funeral Home East.
