Zua Ellen Long, 100, died Thursday, May 13, 1999 at Lakepoint Nursing Center.
Visitation will be Monday, May 17, 1999 from 9 a.m. to service time at First Church of God.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the same location, with Rev. Bill Jeffress officiating.
Graveside services and inter-
LONG ment will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Iola Cemetery.
She was bom Oct. 6, 1898 in Chilicothe, Mo., to S. R Flick-enger and Amanda Jane Sneary. She married Cecil Jones on Oct. 10, 1916 in Iola. On Sept.. 3, 1933 in Kansas City, she married Harold Long.
She was preceded in death by sons, Quinton Jones and Ard§th Jones, her parents, brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois Bass of Augusta, seven grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Church of God in Augusta.
Pavlicek of Kingman, Ariz., and Helen Sherwood of Wichita; sister, Lois Davis of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

James Boren
James Harold Boren, 82, died Thursday, May 13, 1999 in Wichita.
Visitation will be Monday, May 17, 1999 from Hillside FuneralHome Chapel.
A graveside service will be at ll a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 1999 at Elmwood Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Tom Davis of First Christian Church.
James was born July 1, 1916 in Joplin, Mo. to Lloyd Charles Boren and Louisa Boren.
On Nov. 15, 1941 he married Kathryn Atkisson in El Dorado.
He was a retired lab technician for Mobil Oil refinery. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, as a staff sergeant.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Augusta.
He is survived by: wife, Kathryn Boren; son and daugh-ter-in-law, Terry and Debbie Boren of Augusta;and grandchildren, Nathan and Amanda Boren'of Augusta. He was preceded in death by a brother,
Lloyd Boren, Jr. and a sister, Dorothy Cotton.
Memorials may be made to the Augusta High School theater department.
Harold Baum
Harold Richard Baum, 75, of Vernal, Utah, a native of Augusta, died Tuesday, May 11, 1999 in Roosevelt, Utah.
A graveside service with full military honors by the American Legion was held today in Vernal, Utah.
He was born July 13, 1923 in Augusta, the son of Porter Baum and Alma Richardson Baum.
He married Margaret Mardell Kelley on Sept. 6, 1949 in Texas. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1996.
Harold was a consultant and tool pusher in the oil field. He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and the Basin Masonic Lodge 20 in Roosevelt, Utah. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, yard work and farming.
He is survived by: son, Michael Baum of Vernal, Utah; sisters, Betty King of Wichita,. Anna Mae Johnson of El Dorado and Jaroldean Cebula of Spokane, Wash.
Roy L. Smith
Roy L. Smith, 90, died Tuesday, May 11, 1999 in Augusta.
Graveside services were today, May 14, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 25, 1908 to Dillard Henderson Smith and Bessie Pugh.
On May 22, 1935, he married LaVem Standard, who preceded him in death in 1990.
He was also preceded in death by: a sister, Ruth (last name unknown at this time); a sister, Ella Carter; a brother, Ernest Smith and one grandchild.
He was a retail grocer, retired from Plaza IGA Supermarket of Augusta.
Alice A. Sims
Alice Arlene Sims, 70, homemaker, died Friday, May 28, 1999 at Augusta.
There will be no local service.
She was bom April 9, 1999 in Larned to Everett E. Blount and Vertha V. Gilbert.
She is survived by: son, James R. Roepka of Kinsley; brothers, Gerald Blount of Doraville, Ga., and Ralph Blount of Westminster, Colo.; sisteiis, Dorothy Fields of Garden City, Lois Conklin of Washington, Okla.; Melve Blount of Ceres, Calif., and Verna Royce of, Wichita. She was preceded in death by brothers Edwin and Harold Blount.
Grace Seely
Grace J. Seely, 84, of Augusta died Tuesday, June 8, 1999.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 1999 at Cochran Mortuary.
She is survived by: husband, Lloyd; daughters, Anna Pollock of Wichita and Karen Duncan of Sedgwick; sister, Zelma Jones of Ottawa; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
