Deaths
Paul H.Dill

Paul Herman Dill, 83, died Friday, May 14, 1999 in Augusta.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church.
His funeral will be Tuesday, May 18, 1999 at 2 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, with PSstor George Bloomquist officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born May 24, 1915 in Augusta, to Edward Burton Dill and
Gertrude Mary Hill.
He married Rose Madeline Brown on Sep. 5, 1970 in Ponca City, Okla. She preceded him in death in February of 1992.
He was a retired self-employed mechanic and KETCH maintenance/supervi-sor.
He is survived by: son, David Dill of Udall; daughters, Donna L. Crittenden of Wichita and Beverly Whaley of Tenn.; sisters, Helen Ensminger of Wichita, Ethel Cox and Elva Webster, both of Rose Hill; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Michael Lytton

Michael Lynn Lytton, 53, died Friday, May 14, 1999 in Wichita. He was the brother of Jim Lytton of Augusta.
His funeral will be Friday, May 21, 1999 in Wichita.
He was born May 26, 1946 in Wichita to Sydney Lytton and Dorothy Pickle.
He is survived by: sons, Aaron Lytton and Preston Lytton, both of San Francisco; brother, Jim Lytton of Augusta; sister, Sydney Jo Ziety of Wichita; and mother Dorothy Lytton Gulland of Wichita.

Marion Griffin

Marion W. Griffin, 87, died Friday, May 14, 1999 in El Dorado.
Services were this morning at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Interment was at the Leon Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 8, 1911 in Charleston, Ill. to Max Griffin and Margaret Coffler. He married Donna Griffin on June 13, 1967 in El Dorado.
He is survived by: his spouse, Donna Griffin of Augusta; sons, Max Griffin of Leon, John Griffin of Overland Park and Tom Griffin of Leon; daughters, Eula Myer of Augusta, Sue Fleming of New York, Lisa Wallace of Leon, and Robin Burrows of Wichita; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ward R. Bannon

Ward R. Bannon, 40, grandson of George R. Bannon, stepson of Mrs. George R. Bannon, and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Bannon, all of Douglass, died Thursday, June 17, 1999 in Marion, NC.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 25, 1999 in Clinton, Ark.
He was born June 7, 1959 in Winfield to George R. and Tana R. Bannon. His mother, and his grandmother, Mrs. Quentin

Nancy Jackson

Services are pending for former Augusta resident Nancy Carol Jackson, 59, sister of Bruce Bourget and daughter of Evalyn Bourget, both of Augusta. She who died Saturday, May 8, 1999, .in Lakewood, Colo.,
She also leaves husband, Donald Jackson and son Russell Jackson in Arvada, Colo.
Nancy grew up in Augusta and graduated from AHS in 1958.
She married Don Jackson Oct. 15, 1961 and moved to Arvada.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, John Bourget.

John D. Herren

John David Herren, 55, of Douglass died Saturday, May 15, 1999 at his home.
His graveside service will be Wednesday, May 19, 1999 at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, with Frank Miller officiating.
Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born Oct. 16, 1943 in Junction City, to John William Herren and Helen B. Jordan.
He was a retired mobile home salesman, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was affiliated with the Nazarene Church.
He is survived by: sons, T. J. Herren of Andover and John M. Herren of Monmouth, ILL.; daughters, Charlene Bergley and Tracy Dotson, both of El Dorado; sister, Judy Vore of Grove, Okla.; and 15 grandchildren.
