Beatrice McDaniel

Beatrice V. McDaniel, 88, of Augusta died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday Nov. 13 at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 Friday, Nov. 12, at Dunsford’s
She was born Jan. 2, 1911 to Oakley and Ora Vaughn in Decatur County, Iowa.
She married John McDaniel on June 30, 1935 in Leon, Iowa.
She was a retired supervisor of housekeeping at Augusta Medical Complex.
She is survived by, son Donald of Westphalia, daughters Janice McDaniel, Carol Rogers both of Augusta, sister Jettie Bright of Des Moines, Iowa, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Ronald, grandson Jackie Tabor, brother Ronald Vaughn and sister Nevalee Vaughn.

Clark E. Lee

Clark Edward Lee, 55, of Augusta, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999.
His memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, in the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
He was born Jan. 7, 1944 in Garden City to Lawrence O. and Enid E. Lee.
He was a supervisor for See-ber Thermoforming & Manufacturing in Augusta.
He is survived by daughters Kimberly Mitchell of Kansas City, Lisa Bach, Audra Wish-non, Stacy Lee all of Garden City, Janell Vallejo of Lawrence and Heidi Lee of Wichita, nine grandchildren, sisters Glenda Denton of Garden City, Nancy Francis of Houston, brother Gene Lee of Parsons and mother Enid Lee of Garden City.


Margaret Seal

Margaret K. Seal, 89, of Augusta died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta, with Rev. Vern Bowers officiating.
Burial will be at the Las Animas Cemetery in Las Animas,
Colo.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 5, from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Dunsford Chapel.
She was born Aug. 2, 1910 to Byron and Myrtle Forbes in Dewey County, Okla. She was a member of the Methodist Church and a retired social worker.
She is survived by sons Harold of Pueblo, Colo., Donald of Victorville, Calif., daughters Beatrice French of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., Betty Sullivan of Augusta,
eight grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry and an infant daughter Myrtle Mae.
Memorials may be sent to Kansas Children’s Service League, 1565 N. Custer, Wichita, 67203.

Mildred Strong

Mildred Louise Strong, 80, of Augusta died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999.
Graveside service will be at Walnut Valley Cemetery in El Dorado at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 with Rev. Frank Miller officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m.today at Dunsford-Chapel in Augusta.
She was born June 16, 1919 in Rosalia to Vincent and Mar-na Travnichek.
She was a homemaker, married to Earl Strong on May 5, 1945 in Wichita. He survives.
Other survivors are son Larry Strong of Augusta, daughters Sharon Malan and Shirley Kirkpatrick, both of Augusta, four grandchildren, Joshua and Adam Kirkpatrick, Darren Malan and Paula Nichols and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer’s Association.
Norval Simpson

Norval W. Simpson, 82, Augusta, died Friday, Nov. 5,
1999, at the Lakepoint Nursing Center of Augusta.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. tomorrow, Nov. 9, 1999, at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel. Rev, Robert Hanthorn of Central Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
There will be a visitation until 8 o’clock tonight at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 31, 1917 in Augusta as the son of Leonard H. and Edith Brower Simpson.
He married Ruth Ball. She survives.
Mr. Simpson was a retired pattern maker from Boeing.
He served with the U.S. Coast Guard.
In addition to his wife, Mr. r Simpson leaves stepsons, Larry Pepper of Somonauk, Ill. and Phillip Pepper of Las Vegas, . Nv.; stepdaughter Peggy Schantz of Franklin, Texas; brother, Robert Simpson of Augusta; sisters, Geneva Basore of Bentley, and Nadine Tarman of Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Uhl Simpson, brother Virgil Simpson, and his parents.
Memorials to Central Baptist Church and/or Hospice Inc. have been suggested.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
