Edward Ferry

Former Augusta resident Edward S. Ferry,'76, Andale, died Monday, March 6, 2000.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 10, at the Catholic Church in St. Mark. A rosary will be said at the church at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 9.
He was born April 18, 1923 in Oxford, Neb., as the son of George Victor Ferry and Natalie Marie (Hays) Ferry.
Mr. Ferry was a retired method engineer of Beech Aircraft.
He leaves a wife, Ella Mae of the home; daughters, Marjean Horsch and Janise Patry, both of Wichita; brothers, Francis Ferry of Meadow Vista, Calif., James
Ferry of Phoenix, Ariz., and Guy Ferry of Sunnyvale, Calif.; sister, Natalie Marie Clayton of Weslaco, Texas, and five grandchildren.
Memorials to the American Heart Association have been suggested.
The Downing & Lahey Mortuary of Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

‘Tiny’ Wolf

Rell Dean “Tiny" Wolf, 64, Augusta, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 3, at the Hillside Funeral Home Augusta chapel.
He was a retired road maintenance operator and retired employee of Cessna Aircraft.
Survivors include his wife, Jo McGee of Augusta; daughter, Glenda Thompson of Benton; step-daughter Kayla Jo McGee of Augusta; mother, Viva Wolf of Andover, and brother, Gary Wolf of Winter Springs, Fla., and one grandchild.
Memorials to the Susan B. Allen Dialysis Center in El •Dorado have been suggested.

Danny Shinkle

Danny Dale Shinkle, 43, Augusta, died Saturday, March 4, 2000.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, in the Hillside Funeral Home Augusta chapel. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Fall River. Dr. Donald Crisp will officiate.
He was born April 1, 1956 at Fredonia as the son of Rex Shinkle and Elsie Cotton Shinkle. His parents survive.
He had worked as a welder.
Mr. Shinkle also leaves daughters, Nita, Jennifer, and Emily, all of Derby; brother, Donald Shinkle Jr. of Mulvane; sisters, Mary Williams and Linda McCune, both of Augusta, Cindy Arnold of Neodesha, and one grandchild.
Memorials to the American Diabetes Assocation and/or the American Heart Assocaition have been suggested.
The Hillside Funeral Home Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Richard Jacobs

Richard P. Jacobs, 85, Severy, died Wednesday, March 29, at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. He was the father of Cecil Jacobs of Augusta.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 3, at the Severy United Methodist Church.
In addition to the son here, he leaves his wife, Ruby; sons Paul of Milan and Henry of Wichita; a stepson, Raymond Rexroat of Newton;
daughters, Joyce Doane of Severy and Ruth Gordon of Winfield; step-daughters Ruth Warren of Attica, Pat
Townsend of Orlando, Fla., Wanda McKnight of McPherson;
22 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild.
The Zimmerman Funeral Home of Howard was in charge of arrangements.
Richard LeFevre

Richard LaFevre, 55, of Beaumont, Texas, son of Mau-rine LaFevre of Augusta, died March 1, 2000.
Memorial services were held March 5 at Veterans Funeral Service in Houston, Texas.
He was born June 5, 1944 at El Dorado as the son of Clarence and Maurine Kennedy LaFevre.
Richard spent his life in the Augusta area and schools. He entered the U.S. Marine Corps in 1963. After four years in the Marines, he attended an auto mechanics course at vocational school in Wichita. He worked for the former George Finlay and Dick Hatfield garages here. In 1974, he became an employee at the former Mobil Oil refinery here and transferred to Beaumont when the Augusta refinery closed in 1983. He took early retirement in 1995.
In addition to his mother here, Richard leaves daughters, Claudia LaFevre of Rob-binsville, N.J., Melanie Goike of Houston, Texas; son-in-law Tom Goike; grandson Brandon Morgan, and granddaughter, Katilyn Goike.
