Irene J. White

Former Augustan Irene J. White, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, in Pueblo, Colo.
Arrangements were pending this morning at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
A Monday service was possible.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Nazarene Church of Augusta. Burial will be in at Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born July 4, 1911 in Okla, to John and Alice Huston.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to Fred White, who preceded her in 1974.
She was a wonderful mother and homemaker.
Her family and her church were the top priorities of her life. She was a member of the Nazarene Church where she served on the church board for over 55 years. She was the organist and a Sunday school teacher until the time of her final illness.

F. Granderson

Homemaker Florence Granderson, 92, Augusta, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000.
Her service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, Ark.
She is survived by her two stepsons, Roy Granderson of Rison, Ark., and Jim Granderson of New Edenburg, Ark.; stepdaughter, Dot Gill of Kingsland, Ark.; grandchildren, Danny Burkett of Augusta, Charles Burkett of Kingman, Johnny arid Ronny Staton of Bentonville, Ark., Lola Lee of Augusta, Linda Walty of Andover, Patricia Perkins of Rockwell, Texas, Thelma Walter of Kingman,
Judy Carrow of Topeka; numerous other step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; sisters,
Eula Bowlin of Rison, Ark. and Selma of Trinity, Texas.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.


Dorothy M. Hime

Dorothy Mary (Baker) Hime, 81, Augusta, operator of an antique shop, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be possible from 4 to 8 p.m., today at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
She was born March 4, 1919, in Browntown.
On July, 12, 1941, she married Ralph W. Hime of Augusta. They were married 48 years, until his death in January of 1989.
Mrs. Hime worked at airplane plants in Wichita. After retirement in 1964, she and her husband ventured into the antique business and owned and operated an antique shop in Augusta, “Yesterday’s Memories,” for over 20 years. Her favorite hobbies were traveling, knitting, sewing, and cooking. Her love of antiques kept her working at
antique shops through her senior years.
As she stated in a biography for a class reunion, “It has been a good life.”
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Judy Spencer, and a brother, Byron Baker.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Tommy Palmer of Augusta, daughter, Nikki Reagor of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Ed Baker and Richard Baker, both of California; sisters, Kathy Nutter of Escondido, Calif., Laura Langley of Exeter, Calif., and Juanita Kipers, of Tecumseh; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil and Helen Hime, and Lee and Vivian Hime, all of Augusta; grandchildren, Lori Myers of Andover, Kari Clark and Troy Palmer, both of Augusta, Michelle Reagor, Catherine Reagor, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Christopher Reagor of San Antonio, Texas, and Mary Elizabeth Reagor of Tulsa, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Heath and Seth Myers. Gary A. Moore

Gary Alan Moore, 52, Augusta, electrician, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000.
His memorial service will be 1 p.m Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the First Christian Church, Augusta.
He is survived by companion, Kathryn Corbro-Owens, brother, Stephen Moore, both of Augusta; sisters Carol Ferris of Omaha, Neb.; Janet Moore of San Francisco, Calif.
Memorials to the Kansas Humane Society, 4218 SE Blvd, Wichita, KS, 67210 have been suggested.
Hillside Funeral Home Augustan is in charge of arrangements.
