Joseph Logsdon

Joseph Dwayne “J.D.” Logsdon, 81, of Douglass died Wednesday, March 21, 2001.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2001 at the First Christian Church in Douglass. Interment will follow at Douglass Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, March 23 at Miles Funeral Service.
Mr. Logsdon is survived by his wife, Luella of the home; sons and daughter-in-laws, Richard and Ruth of Arkansas City, Donald and Debbie, Delbert and Lori, all of Douglass; daughter, Connie Rader of Wichita; sister Ailene Benjamin of Halstead; brother, Doyle Logsdon of San
Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church in Douglass.
Miles Funeral Service of Winfield is in charge of arrangements.

Scott F. Warden

Scott Francis Warden, 42, metal worker for Fluid Kinetics of Atlanta, Kan., died Monday, March 19, 2001.
Visitation for friends and family will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Dunsford Funeral Home. A private service is planned.
Mr. Warden is survived by his wife, Del Ray; sons, Matthew, Paul both of Atlanta; daughters, Amanda Warden, Kayla Warden
of Atlanta; stepdaughter, Jennifer Dutton, of Atlanta; parents, Everett and Lucrecia Warden of Leon; brothers, Teo of El Dorado, Joel of Leon; sister Valarie of La.

Grace Caster

Grace Caster, 90, homemaker of Douglass, died Monday, March 19, 2001.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 22, both at Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Visitation with family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Ms. Caster is survived by sons, Eric Caster of Douglass, Larry Caster and Jim Caster, both of Clark, S.D.; daughters, Doris Belknap of Whitewater, Shirley Rush of Wichita, Charlotte Trent of Stigler, Okla., Vickey Sue Wanless of San Antonio, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 30 greatgrandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Wheat State Manor in Whitewater.

Rod Dornbusch

Rodney “Rod” Dornbusch, 62, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., formerly of Augusta, retired Howard Johnson employee and Big Ben’s Restaurant owner, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001.
A memorial service will be held in May in Pagosa Springs, Colo.
Mr. Dornbusch is survived by wife, Gayle; son, Keith of Tomball, Texas; daughter, Debra McKinney of Cypress, Texas; step-daughters and spouses, Judi and Dennis Dunlap, Lori Floeck and Montie Miles all of San Pedro, Calif.; brothers, Jack of Albertville, Ala., Jim of Wichita; sister, Betty Miller of Newago, Mich.; grandchildren, Andrew McKinney, Brooke McKinney, Brian Dornbusch, Jennifer Floeck,Rebecca Miles.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Alfreda Hughes

Alfreda Jean (Martin) Hughes, 78, homemaker and retired Helen Mac’s Children’s Shop stock clerk and salesperson of Wichita and mother of Mike Hughes of Augusta, died Friday, March 23, 2001.
Funeral mass at 10 a.m. today at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Wichita.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Malinda Hughes, James Hughes and Linda Elliot all of Wichita, Mike and Karen Hughes of Augusta; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Max Angerson, Janet Grabendike, Jeannie and Joe Woodburn, Shelley and Scott Walker all of Wichita; sister, Patricia Parker of Wichita; 33 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Mark K. Carroll Endowment Fund in c/o Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary East is in charge of arrangements.
