John M. Rovenstine
John Monson Rovenstine, 85, retired Wesleyan pastor of Bartlesville, Okla., formerly of Augusta, died Thursday, April 12, 2001.
A memorial service was held today, April 16, at First Wesleyan Church. Interment will be held at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, Okla.
Mr. Rovenstine is survived by his wife, Aleda, sons and daughters-in-law, Wendell and Esther, Loren and Ruth, Mark and Nancy, Joe and Donita, Tom and Peggy, all of Bartlesville, Okla., Tim and Roberta of Valle de Bravo, Mexico; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Elizabeth and Doug Smith of Oklahoma City; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four nephews; one neice.
Walker Brown Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Okla., was in charge of arrangements.
Kenneth R. Brant Sr.
Kenneth R. Brant Sr., 61, Holcomb, brother of Vernon Brant of Augusta, died Friday, April 13, 2001, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at the Gar-nand Funeral Home in Garden City. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery there.
Memorials to the Kenneth Brant Memorial Fund have been suggested.
In addition to the brother here, Mr. Brant leaves his wife, Lora; daughters Coleen Whennen of Newton, Iowa, Kim Mota of Holcomb, and Kandie Foreman of Garden City; sons Theodore Brant and Kenneth Brant Jr., both of Garden City; brother Robert Brant of Holcomb, and five grandchildren.
Norman V. Ingram
Norman V. Ingram, 83, New Fane, N.Y., father of Larry N. Ingram of Augusta, died Thursday, April 12, 2001.
His funeral service was held today, April 16, in New Fane.
Mr. Ingram, was retired from the radiator division of General Motors.
In addition to the son here, he leaves his wife Ruth of New Fane; son John Ingram of Lockport, N.Y., daughter Barbara Eggert of Barker, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren, 18-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Victor Raymond Hollister
Victor Raymond Hollister, 88, former salesman and Wal-Mart greeter of Arkansas City and father of Rick Hollister of Augusta, died Friday, April 13, 2001.
His funeral service was at 2 p.m. today, Monday, April 16 at Cedarvale Cemetery.
Mr. Hollister is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Rick of Augusta; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc.
Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
