Wanda McKnight
Wanda J. McKnight, 78, of Augusta, teacher and McKnight Auto Sales office administrator, died Saturday, June 23, 2001.
Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, June 25, at Dunsford Funeral Home. Her service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. McKnight is survived by husband, Muril; sisters, Bonita Hurst of Springfield, Mo., Maxine Brixey of Augusta; nephews and spouse, Floyd and Sue Hurst of Rogersville, Mo., Barry Hurst of Warsaw, Mo.; niece and spouse, Eris and Rene Mouton of Houston; great nephews and nieces, Scott, Lisa and Kelly Hurst, Rachelle and Bryan Smith.
A memorial has been established with Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Her service will be at 11 a.m. today, June 25, at Central Baptist Church of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by son, Thomas Carr.
Mrs. Carr is survived by husband, Theodore “Ted”, daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Doug Rohrback of Andover, Lori and Delbert Logsdon of Douglass; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Carr of Augusta; 10 grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Hospice, Inc. and Central Baptist Church.

Dorothy Mullin
Dorothy Inez (White) Mullin, 68, of Wichita, retired Wesley HospitaLdiabetic assistant, and mother of Verlin Mullin of Augusta, died Saturday, June 23 2001.
A wake service will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, both at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Mrs. Mullin was born in Augusta to Jesse and Mary
(Cochran) White on June 20, 1933. She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Har-lo Mullin; son, Melvin.
Mrs. Mullin is survived by sons, Verlin of Augusta, Elvin of Lyons, Russell of El Dorado, Lloyd of Wichita, Harley of Conway Springs, Gayle of Goddard; daughters, Peggy Whis-man of Medicine Lodge, Joyce Fletcher, Leota Mullin, both of Wichita; brother James “Buster” White of Lyons; sisters, Charlotte Campbell of Calif., Phyllis Cantrell of Lewistown, Mont., Marlene McDaniel of Lyons; 32 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Inc.

Vera Leoan Ward, 79, Augusta, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001.
A private service will be held. Ms. Ward is survived by brother, Samuel Bally of Brandon, Fla.; sisters, Iris Malcolm of Augusta, Ina Grimes of Park City. She also leaves nieces and nephews.
She was the widow of Dr, Howard Ward and they lived in Elkhart, Ind., before retiring to Harlingen, Texas. After her husband’s death two years ago, Ms. Ward came to Augusta to be close to her sister.

Rodney D. Bohrer
Rodney Dean Bohrer, 83, Douglass, retired dentist for 40 years and Army veteran of World War II, died Tuesday, July 3, 2001.
Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 5, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home. His service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Douglass Cemetery.
Mr. Bohrer is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Stephen and Sara Bohrer of Dodge City; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Richard Newby of Olathe; sister, Ruth
Conley of Lubbock, Texas; four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Douglass Christian Church and Douglass Public Library.
Clara H. Marten
Clara H. Marten, 90, of Lake-Point Nursing Home in Augusta, formerly of Winfield, retired nurse, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2001 at Highland Cemetery in Winfield. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, July 15, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
She was preceded in death by husband, Wilbur; brother, Luther Hargett; sisters, Helen Davis and Mildred Hamby.
Mrs. Marten is survived by son, Marty of Lafayette, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Mari-lynn and Robert Skaer of Augusta; sisters, Zeoda Con-gram of Blackwell, Okla., Pearl Lesser of Cherry Valley, Calif.; grandchildren, Justin Skaer, Brady Skaer, Marten Skaer.
A memorial has been established in Mrs. Marten’s name for an education fund for her grandsons.
