Jimmie D. Lewis

Jimmie Dean Lewis, 67, of Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of Augusta, died Sunday, April 28, 2002.
He drove for several trucking firms and traveled nationwide. Lewis had recently retired.
Survivors include children, Mark Lewis of Augusta, Brian Lewis of Wichita, Shelly Marbut of Augusta, Gregg Lewis of El Dorado; mother, Eileen Lewis of Garfield, Ark.; brother, Bill Lewis and sister-in-law, Lee of Everett, Wash.; sister, Janet Gardner and brother-in-law, Bill of Garfield, Ark.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Also surviving is his companion and best friend, Barbara Turner of Bakersfield, Calif.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11. in Bakersfield.

Dean B. Hudson

Dean Bazil Hudson, 88, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at the Carriage House in Rose Hill.
His Mass of the Christian burial is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta.
Rosary recitation followed by visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in El Dorado.
Survivors include son, Philip Hudson of McPherson; daughters, Pamela Duntz and Susan Carroll of Wichita, Debra Johnson of Denton, Texas, and Cindy McGraw of Augusta; eight grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado has charge of arrangements and memorials

Wilbur Gardner

Wilbur W. Gardner, 73, of Little Elm, Texas, formerly of Augusta, father of Greg Gardner and Glynda Cary, and brother to Norma Agard, all of Augusta, died April 30, 2002.
Mr. Gardner was a retired commercial painter.
His service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 9, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Other survivors include: brother, Bill Gardner of Garfield, Ark.; 5 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild.
Memorial has been established with American Lung Association, 4300 Drury Lane, Box 4426, Topeka, 66604.
Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta is handling arrangements.

Albert Arnold

Albert Arnold, 58, Rogers. Ark., formerly of Augusta, father to Ed Arnold, Bill Arnold and Linda Corbin, all of Augusta, brother to Mary Martin of Augusta, died Sunday, May 5, 2002.
He was preceded in death by a brother, R.D. Arnold.
Service will be at 2 p.m., tomorrow, May 8, at the First Christian Church of Rogers. Burial will be in the Oakley Chapel Cemetery.
Other survivors include; son, David Harris of Rogers; daughter, Aricka Harris Finger of Rogers; companion, Meza Harris of Rogers; 11 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in honor of Albert Arnold to St. Mary’s Hospice, 1200 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark., 72756.
Stockdale Funeral Home of Rogers is in charge of arrangements.

Marjory A. Crum

Marjory A. Crum, 88, Eureka, mother of son and daughter-in-law, Dr. David and Betty Crum of Augusta, died Friday, May 3, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, May 7, at the First United Methodist Church in Eureka and interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Other survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Sara Susan and Phil Barger of Clinton, Iowa; five grandchildren; 4 great-grandsons; two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Ashley of Sun Lakes, Ariz. and Betty Huckaby of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; one brother-in-law, J.C. Crum of Onaga, Kans.
Memorials have been established in her name to the First United Methodist Church and the Eureka Carnegie Library. Contributions may be sent in care of Campbell-Kelly Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, 67045, which is in charge of arrangements.
