Mother Dies At Home
Cleo Catherine Fink, 60, Benedict, mother of Sue North of Augusta, died Thursday at her home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Weakley Cemetery in rural New Albany. Rev. Gene Mengarelli will officiate.
She was born June 19, 1922 in Howard to Burt and Bertha Waymeier
She married Leroy J. Fink June 17, 1964 in Kansas City, Mo. He survives.
She was a member of the Shawnee Mission, Kan., Eagles Club.
Survivors also include sons, Jack R. Joy of Fredonia, Leon Joy of Benedict; sisters, Glaneva Woods of Elk Falls and Mildred Wilkerson of Moline; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Esta Grider Dies At 90
Esta Leona Grider, 90, 1014 Dearborn, died today at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa, Okla.
Friends may call at the Dunsford Funeral Home until Saturday evening.
She was born Jan. 15, 1893 in Chattanooga, Tenn., to Henry and Elizabeth Ann Cook Baker.
She married Dennis E. Grider who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Sandusky Christian Church in Tulsa, Okla.
Survivors include a sister, Lillie Shawhan of Sunland, Calif.; a nephew, Gayle McDermed of Wichita and a niece, Vivian Austin of Denver, Colo.

David Schaible Dies At 56
David A. Schaible, 56, Wichita, operator of the Plaza Barber and Style Shop in Augusta, died yesterday at St. Joseph Medical Center there.
His service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church Magdalen in Wichita. The rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Downing and Lahey Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Charles Regan will officiate and burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 17, 1927 in Gorham, Kan., to Lloyd and Mary Nowak Schaible.
He married Mildred Dreiling. She survives.
He served in the military during World War II.
He was a member of the Church of the Magdalen.
Other survivors include a son, Doug of Wichita; two daughters, Jane Laham of Wichita and Cynthia Johnson of Lakeside, Calif., and six grandchildren.

Charles Bell Dies At 87
Charles Bell, 87, South Haven, brother of Carl Bell of Douglass, died Sunday at the Wheatland Lodge there.
His service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the South Haven Christian Church. Rev. Jack Harris and Rev. Mark Hellstern will officiate and burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven.
A memorial has been established with South Haven Christian Church.
He was born May 14, 1895 in Wentworth, Mo., to George and Lulu Gaskill Bell.
He married Jennie Burden June 7, 1921 in Riverdale. She survives.
He was a retired fanner. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I.
Other survivors include a son, Laird Bell of Frisco, Colo.; a daughter, Shirley Mattingly of South Haven; sisters, Aggie Ostrander of Oxford, Rose Cavendar of Pico Rivera, Calif., Lee Zeitler of San Diego, Calif., Mildred Howe of Sonoma, Calif., Edith Venis of Bentonville, Ark., 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Schaeffer-Reager Mortuary in Caldwell is in charge.

G.A. Harper Dies At 85
George A. Harper, 85, El Dorado, brother of Clarence Harper of Augusta, died Sunday at Knutson Manor nursing home.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Carlson Funeral Home. Rev. Victor Elliott will officiate and burial will be at the Walnut Valley Memorial Park in El Dorado.
He was born Jan. 7, 1898 at Bunker, Mo., to Sims Allan and Pauline Davis Harper.
He married Avis Smallen Oct.
14, 1919 in Gladden, Mo. She preceded him in death.
Harper was a retired carpenter and member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors also include a son, Paul Harper of Stillwater, Okla.; a daughters, Georgia McHugh of El Dorado, Imogene Mahan of Towanda, Bessie Biles, Dottie Lou Joyce, both of El Dorado; brothers Caleb Harper of El Dorado and Sam Harper of Hollister, Mo.; sisters, Bonnie Ritchey and Donna Holcomb, both of El Dorado; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
