Harry Slaughter

Harry F. Slaughter, 65, Wichita, retired Sperry Flight Systems-Honeywell employee, father of Shari Flippo of Douglass, died Sunday, July 20, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
He was a member of the Air National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Phil Slaughter.
Other survivors include: son, Harry F. Slaughter,Jr. of Glenwood, Iowa; mother, Ernestine Slaughter; two grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with the Kansas Aviation Museum, 3350 S. George Washington, Blvd., Wichita, 67210.
Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Mary Daugherty

Former Augustan Mary Daugherty, 86, Fort Worth, Texas, died Friday, July 18, 2003.
Her memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 22, at Greenwood Chapel followed by burial at Greenwood Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Daugherty.
Survivors include: daughter, Terri D. Green of Fort Worth; son, Michael Daugherty of Irving; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Lenoir “Babe” Moss of El Dorado; several nieces and nephews

Annalise Johnson

Annalise Dawn Johnson, infant daughter of Tim and Mandy Johnson of Wichita, great-granddaughter of Scott and Mary Etta Johnson of Augusta, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003.
Her service was held today, July 28 at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by brother, Connor; great-grandparents, UnaVie Brandon, Otto and Iola Johnson and Conrad Brunken.
Other survivors include: sister, Caitlyn of the home; grandparents, Ron and Darla Kerns of Goddard, Miles and Barbara Johnson of Ga., Glenn and Bonnie Johnson of North Platte, Neb.; great-grandparents, Gerald and Maxine Barker of Oxford, Mary Brunken of Holyoke, Colo.
Memorials may be sent to Support Organization of Trisomy Eighteen, c/o Cindy Cook, 301 Ridge Dr., Shorewood, ILL., 67043.

Ruth Boring

Ruth A. (Lipak) Boring, 72, Wickliffe, Ohio, homemaker, mother of Deborah Michalski of Augusta, died Monday, July 28, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, July 31, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home in Willoughby, Ohio. Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
Other survivors include: husband, Ray Boring of the home; daughter, Donna Boring of Mentor, Ohio; son, Alan Boring of Eastlake, Ohio; four grandchildren; brother, Ron Liptak of Tennessee.

Anton Schwartz

Anton E. “Tony’ Schwartz, 78, Wichita, warehouse foreman, father oi Phyllis Ulshafer of Augusta, died Saturday, July 26, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
Visitation will be possible from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, July 28, at the funeral home.
Other survivors include: wife, Doris of the home; son, Jim John of Wichita; daughters, Diane John of Grove, Okla., Vicki Shue of Wichita; sisters, Jeannine Hopkins, Mary Ann Johnson, both of Holdrege, Neb., Betty LeBeau of Hastings, Neb., seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to: The Bester Brown Masonic Lodge of Wichita.
Lakeview Funeal Home of Wichita is in charge of the arrangements.
