Harry D. Carey

Harry Dean Carey, 56, Wichita, pipeliner and owner and operator of C H Trucking, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at the Augusta Assembly of God Church.
Visitation will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, at Mount Hope
Cemetery in Humboldt.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1947 to Hurshel and Virginia (Warwick) Carey in Coffeyville.
Survivors include: wife, Cheryl “Tina” Carey; sons, Kevin and wife, Erin Carey of Wichita, Justin Carey of the home; daughter, Michele and husband, David Carr of Augusta; parents, Hurshel and Virginia Carey -of Augusta; grandchildren, Contessa and Austin Carr; brother, Robert and wife, Bonnie Carey of Augusta; sisters, Sherrie and husband, Howard Johnson of Augusta, Tammee and husband, Randy Yates of Augusta.
Memorial established with Harry D. Carey Memorial Fund in care of Dunsford Funeral Home, P.O. Box 26, Augusta, 67010.

Martha J. Taylor

Martha J. Taylor, 74, Augusta, retired K-Mart bookkeeper, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2003.
Her funeral services are to be held in Chattanooga, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by husband, Alvin E. Taylor and grandson, Jeremy Allen Taylor (killed in Saudi Arabia).
Survivors include: sons and daughter-in-law,
Lawrence E. and Vickie Taylor of Douglass, John N. Taylor of Tripp City, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Laura Taylor-Harmer and husband, William of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren and great-grandchild, Star Taylor and Mikel of Mulvane, Salena Veal and Taylor of Ga„ Amber Harmer, William Harmer III, Jennifer Harmer, all of Chattanooga.
Memorial in the name of Jeremy Allen Taylor with Make A Wish Foundation, 2016 N. Amidon, Wichita, 67203.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Velma Unruh

Velma Leppke Winter Unruh, 93, Aulne, homemaker, mother of Rosalie Kaiser of Augusta, died Tuesday Aug. 26, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Aulne United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include-brother, Elmer Leppke of Marion; sisters, Gladys Janzen of Hillsboro, Anna Voth of Goessel; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren.
Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion has charge of the arrangements.

Donna Hagermann

Donna Hagermann, 75, Wichita, homemaker, sister of Bernice Nettles of Augusta, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003.
Her graveside service was held today, Aug. 25, at Greenwood Cemetery.
Other survivors include: sons, Paul Wood, Duane Wood, Terry Wood, all of Wichita; stepsons, Greg and Gary Hagermann; stepdaughter, Sherry
Hagermann; brothers, Kenneth Hymer of Wichita, Chuck Hymer of Dallas; four grandchildren; four grpaf-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Kansas Humane Society.

Kenneth Bartlett

Kenneth D. Bartlett, 78, Augusta, retired United States Army Master Sergeant, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the Augusta Assembly of God Church.
Visitation with family 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Survivors include: wife, Mabel; children; Scott Bartlett of Twin Falls, Idaho, Bill Taylor of El Dorado, Tommy Taylor of Valley Center, Jackie Stephenson, Frank Taylor, Glenna Myers, Keith Morris, all of Augusta;
14 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren.
