Sheila J. Shriver

Sheila J. Shriver, 58, Wichita, Via Christi-St. Francis registrar, sister of Juin Robinson of Augusta, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, at Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Wichita.
Other survivors include: son, Derek Shriver of Wichita; mother, Valede Henderson of Jasper, Ark.; sister, Nina Lea Henderson of Harrison, Ark., and two grandsons.
Memorials established with Cancer Center of Kansas at St. Francis Hospital and Victory in the Valley.
Culbertson-Smith Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

‘Frank’ Wilson

Albert “Frank” Wilson, 83, Augusta, retired Boeing of Wichita, Postal worker, Augusta High School custodian, and World War II veteran, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003.
His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at First Christian Church in Augusta.
Survivors are: wife, Jane Wilson of Augusta; daughter, Vicki Stephenson of Coral Gables, Fla., Susan Atkins of Kingman; sisters, Faye Leach of Wichita, Flossie Cowles of Cody, Wyo.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Melvin and Raymond; sister Virgie Dimter and his twin sister, Frances Hansen.
Memorial established with the Augusta First Christian Church.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of the arrangements.

Judith A. Byer

Judith Ann Byer, 57 Kansas City, Mo., mother ol Augusta Postmaster Janell Redger, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003.
A “farewell gathering” will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at 7439 N.Hickory in Kansas City, Mo.
Her graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the cemetery in Cimarron.
Mrs. Byer also leaves daughters Jami Byer and Joy Byer; grandsons, Ryan and Andrew; two brothers, a sisters, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and her husband.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Judith Byer Memorial Fund for educational scholarships.
The Heartland Cremation & Burial Society of Kansas City, Mo. is in charge of arrangements.

Helen Doffing

Helen Marie Doffing, 88, Wichita, retired nurse’s aide and activity director at Colwich Health Center, mother of Rita Bunck of Augusta, died Tuesday, Sept. 16,2003.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Christ The King Catholic Church in Wichita.
A rosary service will recited at 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 18, at Christ The King Catholic Church.
Other survivors include: sons, James M. Doffing of Tacoma, Wash., John E Doffing of Wichita, Joseph C. Doffing of Clearwater; brothers, Bart Schoenecker of Sedgwick, Elmer Schoenecker of Tacoma, Wash., Vince Schoenecker of Houston, Texas; sisters,
Alvera Johnson of Sedgwick, Irene Rausch of Medford' Ore., Marie Morrow of 1 Grove, Okla., Margie Fields I of Houston, Texas, Leona s Vierthaler of Haven, 13 S grandchildren, and nine L great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Barthel and Angela K. (Mertes) C Schoenecker; husband, C. Paul; son, “Bud” Paul H Doffing;* daughters, Ann H Doffing and Mary Bohrn; of brother, E.J. Schoenecker; sister, Marcella Wilson.
Memorial established with Christ The King Endowment Fund.

Dolores Earns

Dolores “Dee” M. (Solomon) Earns, 79 ', Hutchinson, retired Social Security administrator, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003.
Her funeral service will be , at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at Crossroads Christian Church in Hutchinson. Burial will be at 1 p.m Friday at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Survivors include:’ Mark Allen Earns of Hutchinson, Lonnie Lee Earns of Jefferson, La.; sister, Dorothy Roberts of Hutchinson; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: parents, George and Flossie (Ohmart) Solomon; sister, Evelyn Lucille' Solomon; husband, George LeRoy Earns.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Crossroads Christian Church or the American Cancer Society in care of Heritage Funeral Home of Hutchinson who has charge of the arrangements.
