Marilyn Sue Bannon

Marilyn Sue Bannon, 64, Hillrose, Colo., formerly of Douglass, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at the Douglass United Methodist Church in Douglass. Intermerit will
follow at the Douglass Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
She was born June 14, 1939 in Wichita. She was the daughter of Clarence and Garnet (Wakefield) Bannon. She was raised and received her education in Douglass.
In 1957, she moved to the Loveland, Colo., area. In 1966 she began employment at the Hewlett-Packard Company where she was a buyer. She retired in 1999, following 33 years of service.
Mrs Bannon helped with Colorado high school rodeos, the Little Britches Rodeos, and the Johnstown Saddle Club. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, StanniS, taking care of her horses and attending rodeos.
Her family includes sons, Wayne Metheny and wife Debi of Merino, Colo., Wayde Metheny of Fort Collins, Colo.; father, Clarence Bannon of Fort Morgan, Colo.; mother, Garnett Hill of Douglass; step brother, Clark Hill and wife, Heidi of Cedar Vale; step sisters, Neva Wakefield of Udall, Alice Hutton and husband, Art of Brea, Calif.; half sister, Gladys Bracken of Geuda Springs; granddaughter, Stannis Decker and husband, Kelby; special friend, Gerry Knudson of Hillrose, Colo.
The family suggests memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Miriam (Moore) Dennett, 70, Augusta, Hancock Fabrics seamstress, passed away on Monday, Nov. 24, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at First United Methodist Church in Augusta. Graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Council Hill Cemetery.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Survivors are: son, Carl Dennett of Augusta; daughter, Diana and husband, Tom Corl of Claremont, Fla.; brothers, Howard and wife, Margaret Moore of Wichita, James and wife, Judy Moore of Mulvane; sister, Willa and husband, James Wulz of Shell Knob, Mo.; three grandchildren.
The family requests donations to Aplastic Anemia & MDS International,
American Red Cross, or the Augusta First United Methodist Church Education Fund.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

Zachary Knapp-Howland

Zachary Daniel Knapp-Howland, 17, Augusta stu-^ dent, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday; Dec. 3, at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation is possible from from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include: parents, Kenneth and Crystal Howland of Leon; brother, Cody Howland; sister, Brittany Howland; grandparents, Kenneth and Anne Howland of Olympia, Wash., Sharon Cline of Augusta, Dan Cromwell of Wichita, Larry and Teresa Mathews of Cheney.
