Luke Agard Service Today
Luke Edward Agard, infant son of David and Marsha Agard, was stillborn Saturday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His service was at 11 a.m. today at the Lakeview Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Bob McGuire officiated and burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery.
Besides his parents, other survivors are a brother, Eric, of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Agard of Andover and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Drinnen of Fall River and a great-grandmother, Anna Drinnen of Marysville.

AUGUSTA — Luke Edward Agard, son of David and Marsha Agard, was stillborn Saturday. Service 11 a.m. today, Lakeview Mortuary.
Other survivors: brother, Eric at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Agard of Andover, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Brinnen of Fall River; greatgrandmother, Anna Drinnem of Marysville.
A funeral service for Marie Wallace, 73, Wichita, sister of Jeri Wilson of Augusta, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cochran Mortuary in Wichita.
Rev. Charles Greer officiated. Private burial was this morning at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
She died Dec. 30 at the Mesa Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association, 2100 East Douglass, Wichita.
She was born Dec. 29,1908 in Aurora, Mo., to Grene and Samantha Blalock Wallace.
She married Howard Max
Wallace. He preceded her in death in 1976.
She was a retired office manager for Lock Joint Pipe Co.
Other survivors include three sons, Larry Wallace of Lakewood, Colo., George Wallace of Boulder, Colo., and Col. Kenneth Wallace of Riverside, Calif.; a brother, Charles Blalack of Mesa, Ariz; four other sisters, Tressa Herrington of Mesa, Ethelda Perrine and Ann Noffsinger, both of Wichita, Dorothy Rathbun of Des Moines, Iowa; a stepbrother, Thomas Newcomer of California; a stepsister, Mollie Richey of Wichita and six grandchildren.
Father Dies In Newton
Richard Stratton, 58, Hesston, father of Donna Lou Stratton of Leon, died Friday at a Newton hospital.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today at the Hesston cemetery. Memorial services were at 10:30 a.m. at the Hesston United Methodist Church, Rev. Chuck Hadley officiated.
A memorial has been established with the National Epilepsy Foundation of
America in Wichita.
He was born Jan. 24, 1923 in Hesston to Wilson and Mary Wenger Stratton.
He married Verna Neufeld Aug. 19,1955 in Joplin, Mo. She survives.
Other survivors include two foster sons, John Tullos and Jim Thompson, both of the home; a brother, Joe Stratton of Glen Elder; two sisters, Roma Shults of Wichita and Wilma Rife of Lawrence.
Graveside Rites For Scearcy
Charles Edward Scearcy, 65, 604 School, died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Richard Bacon of the First Christian Church will officiate.
He was born Jan. 23, 1916 in Jasper County, Mo., to Charles Grover and Gladys R. Cole Scearcy.
He married Bernice Scearcy April 7, 1962 in El Dorado. She survives.
He was a retired Frisco Railroad employee. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Other survivors include a
sister, Virginia Maben of Wichita and a niece, Donna Page of Conway Springs.
Brother Dies In Newton
Roy Martin Allen, 74, Sedgwick, brother of Augustan James Allen, died Friday, Jan. 1, at a Newton hospital.
His service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Draper-Cannon Funeral Home in Newton. Rev. David R. Erwin will officiate and burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
He was bom Jan. 29, 1907 in Greenwich to James and Annie Laurie Allen.
He married Veda Milne in Wichita Sept. 19, 1930. She survives.
